Love it!

Had this installed yesterday and love it so far. Im running stock 75th anniv edition wheels/tires until my 35?s go on it tomorrow. I put 100 miles on it yesterday traveling on back roads, highway, & over railroad tracks and was impressed with the ride quality. It took a friend 6 hours (with plenty of stopping to talk, phone/kid interruptions, etc) to install including replacing rear brakes and the control arm drop brackets (re9800). He has a hydraulic lift which really helps but he stated isn't necessary. He has been building cars and trucks for more than 20 years and spoke highly of this kit and its quality. The lift added closer to 3?. My only concern is the drive shaft boot is really close to the exhaust. R.E. states the exhaust spacers aren't necessary for this kit, but I recommend adding them at the time of install to avoid potential issues. I plan to order mine and install asap. Another thing to note. The part number on the front coil springs does not match the part number listed on the packing list/install instructions. I called R.E. and confirmed that RM60455 is the correct front coil spring number for a 4dr JK and that RM60450 as listed is actually the 2dr front spring part number. I searched the forums and web for hours and couldnt anything about this. Hope it helps save you some time.

Trusted brand.

This is the 3rd Rubicon lift kit I’ve purchased. Always impressed with the quality and will keep buying them as I need.

Really nice kit.

Very nice kit. I added a set of King Reservoir shocks to this kit and have driven the modified JL Unlimited Rubicon for over a year and almost 15,000 miles. Absolutey no problems and great performance; both on the highway and lots of offroad.

Great suspension kit, instructions need work

I have been quite impressed with this suspension system. It rides and handles well on the street as well as off road. I have been to Moab and Ouray so far and it has been great! The instructions do lack a little bit of detail. For instance the rear track bar bracket is supposed to go at the top frame mount, but the instructions say it goes on the axle. I also had to drill a larger hole than what is indicated for the front bump stops. Other than that, this kit is great!

Lift without sacrificing highway handling

I bought this to lift my jeep ('19 wrangler JL) without loosing the nice highway ride of stock. This is excellent. I am very happy with both off-road and, especially, highway driving.

Rides great

Only wanted a 2.5? lift and reviewed several for several months. I went with the Rubicon Express, which was my original choice. I only upgraded to the monotube shocks at the last minute. Easy install, instructions were easy to follow, and used a friend?s lift system. Rides better than stock especially with the 10 ply tires I have on my Jeep.

Road noise

This was a nice lift kit. It did not change the way my vehicle handled. The only problem that I've had with this is that it doubled the road noise that I used to have. Other than that it is a great product.

Great lift

Easy to install great looking lift when done... I added the steering stabilizer and Mono Tube shocks and rides better than stock... I had twin tubes with it and didn't like the ride one bit...

2.5 years after installing the lift...

The Rubicon Express 2.5" Suspension #RE2005 has been on my 1991 Jeep YJ for over 2.5 years and all is great. I have since removed the transfer case lowering kit and installed a SYE along with a front driveshaft from a Jeep XJ that has been shortened to use in the rear of the YJ with the SYE. The suspension hasn't settled anymore but does flex a lot more. I am still running 265/75R16 BF-Goodrich All-Terrains and with the front sway-bar disconnected the front tires will rub the fender under full compression. (with the sway bar connected there is plenty of clearance for the 32's) I'm planning to either fab up some bump-stop relocation brackets for the front or downsize to a 245/75R16 tire. Another option is to run a highline front fender. The rear is still good though I did use a heat gun many years ago to reshape the front edge of the rear factory flares to allow clearance for the 30x9.50R15 BFG Mud-Terrains at stock height. I am very happy with this suspension.

Same as factory

Great lift kit but make sure to know what shocks you want and order them with the kit. Has a great ride not sure yet if I will add stabilizers.

Great with my 35's

I bought the Rubicon Express 2.5" lift from 4wheel parts and installed it myself in a day. Fits great, looks great, works great. I have 35" AT's and the 2.5" is enough for these tires. Took it to get it aligned and the shop used the included shims and was able to get a nice alignment, although a couple measurements are outside factory spec. However, it drives and feels good going down the road even at 75 mpg.

2.5" Rubicon Express Lift on 2013 Sahara 4 Door

Parts were all there. Nice material. Well packed. Poor instructions and part numbers referenced in instructions did not match actual part numbers on springs. Start in the back. I installed in my driveway with hand tools, torque wrench, two jack stands and two floor jacks (handy for the front end). First lift kit I had installed. You Tube video is handy to start with to identify process.

Good for the price

Easy to install. Change the appearance of my XJ. Smooth ride didn’t really change much from stock.

Lift on my 2013 jeep wrangler

Didnt come with instructions took 5 hours total to put on 2.5 hours front and 2.5 hour rear. Overall I can definitely tell a difference, my old shocks were shot, and now my jeep feels pretty stable. My tires were rubbing on drivers side when I turn having 33s, Until I got this lift now there is no rub.
