Haven’t used it yet on the trail but was fairly easy to install. One of the removable plates came damaged but smittybilt sent a new one overnight. Lights up really nice and can be used as DRL

It works well and pulls hard. I've used it several times. I love the lighted tie bar and remote. The "day time running light" xrc emblem is a bit lame imho. The fairlead is a cast piece of junk and broke on the second use , not a big deal as i planned on up grading to the 1.5 radius factor 55 fairlead anyway.

Installed with a bulldog winch plate base. Very well built winch with little extra touches on it, including the winch light as well as the “XRC” on the control mount that lights up when wired in! This winch is a well designed unit that I expect will live up to years of service.

Winch is awesome. Very strong. I have it on a 100 Series Land Cruiser that I do trail rodes with and use it for hog control. Ive used it enough to say I trust it to do what it needs to do to get me back home safe. For a 9500lb winch its a beast especially for the money.

The Gen 3 winch is awesome. I really appreciate the light inside to watch the cable wind. The load indicator on the remote is a very nice addition. The engage switch is very easy to turn to engage unlike the last winch we had that we had to force into position. It looks great as well with the metal armor on the outside. The price was also where it needed to be.

The Smittybilt XRC 9500 Gen 3 is a great winch. Smooth and quiet operation. The handset controller is ergonomic and easy to use. I especially like the magnets and the built in flashlight.

Installation instructions were not as complete as I expected, but I didn't have any problems with the installation. Even though they specified blue Loctite for the rope anchor screw, they didn't include any. So I had to run to the auto parts store. You will also want to watch some YouTube videos to help you decide on the best wire routing for your Jeep. Overall, though, it's not too difficult. The winch ran smoothly loading the rope. The load indicator on the controller is a very nice feature.

Great transaction with the guys at 4wheel Parts, Can't remember the sales persons name but he was very helpful, I recently bought my Jeep and he came outside to check it out and was able to tell me the type of lift I have and give me pointers on different things about my rubicon. The winch was a breeze to install, I haven't used it yet but I'm happy to have it just in case!

Added this to my 2019 JLUR on an after market copy of the Mopar Stubby steel bumper. While it's a tight fit on the bumper, it does fit. Installation is straight forward and SB includes color instructions that are easy to follow. On the trail it performs great and I have no issues in the half dozen or so times I have used to help others that got stuck in mud or over a large rock.

Awesome appearance. Lights are phenomenal. Had no problem pulling out a buddy.

This winch is amazing! I was stuck on a vertical and it pulled me up over with ease!
