Awesome winch plate, easy to install.

I wanted the raised winch plate but was going back and forth with the cheaper flat version. I decided to pay the extra for the raised one and I?m glad I did it?s well worth the cost.

Recieved plate today. 2 hours later my wench is installed. Had to modify the brackets with a chop saw to clear my air-conditioning lines below the radiator. Other than that I just bolted it on with my tube bumper. LOVE IT!!! I totally recommend this kit.

great design, good finish, perfect fit,packaged very good ( no damage) installed on a 2003 TJ with 1" body lift, supporting a smitty built h20 10000lb winch.

this plate is excellent. i have a Smittybilt SRC front bumper and this raised winch plate put the roller fairlead high enough to clear the bumper. i couldn't have asked for a better fit.

Installed in about 5 minutes. Perfect fit to my Jeep's factory bumper. Thick, heavy steel makes a very sturdy platform to mount a winch. Only issue was that I had to uninstall it & bolt the winch to the plate & then reinstall it on the bumper. Could not access the winch mount bolts with the mount plate attached to the bumper.

Fairlead cleared my tubular bumper.Winch plate is made from 1/4 inch plate which is better because 3/8 would have been overkill and heavy.Bolted up with no problem.

I wish it would accept the factory tow hooks.

I Mounted this on a 98 TJ stock bumper with a Smittybilt XRC8. the mount installed perfect, you can still use your stock sway bar with NO issues, and the fairlead is above the bumper but does stick out past the bumper about 1 Inch. I do recommend putting the winch together first, hooking the electrical connection up, then putting the winch on the mount, then bolting the mount down, if i would have done it this way the first time then install time would be about an hour. My next upgrade, Smittybilt Front bumper

This is a very sturdy and sharp looking winch plate. I have had several comments in the few times I have been out on the trail about how good it looks and how well it supports the winch. Thanks for another great product.

Very happy with this mount,attach to garage floor with Warn 8000 winch.Very happen with this also can remove & attach to a vehicle later.Yes I would rec this to a friend.

This winch plate is perfect for a tubular front bumper.

The only thing I don't like about it is NOTHING its perfect and it looks a whole lot better than a flat winch plate

Great design-- Allows you to attach the winch to the plate before attaching to the bumper/frame on the jeep. Very heavy duty.

I was absolutely shocked to see a product from Smittybilt that was so well thought out. I've had a number of Smittybilt products in the past (all steel products, as I don't really trust anything electronic/mechanical from them) and I've yet to be genuinely impressed with the quality. My steel corners, rock sliders and 3" flares are all nice, but the fitment was a bit rough at times and the supplied texture coat chips off very easily which promotes premature rust. That said, the SB2802 winch plate is leaps and bounds superior. I was amazed to see the product is actually powdercoated. The coating is thick and heavy and very durable. It seems to be slightly rubberized as well, which adds to the long term durability of the plate, especially in regular used. I was also pleasantly surprised to see they included crush sleeves for the swaybar mount bolts, that way the plate stays level when you torque down the bolts. This product has rejuvenated my interest and faith in the Smittybilt line, as I was beginning to lose hope. My Warn winch mounted to it without issue and all is well and wonderful in the world! Thanks 4wd & Smittybilt, this is an excellent product!
