Reviews: Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3 Tires

These are great tires. No road noise. Great on and off road.

These replaced a well used set of Goodyear MTR/Ks, which I love and wante to replace. No stock would be available for weeks, so on the advice of a club memeber, and a person I know with a Jeep rental operation, I decided to try the ATZs. Theae are a hybrid mud terrain/all-terrain. Very smooth & quiet on highway, they turn into beasts on the rocks. Hook up on virtually everything instantly. Not sure what the tread life wil be, but time will tell. If you're looking for a great tire for a rig that gets used on & off the trail, take a hard look at these.

We put these on a brand new JKU with no lift (wheels with 4.5BS) and they look fantastic. The were shipped mounted and balanced and they are perfectly balanced. Kudos to 4wd.com for their install. They are quieter than I expected for the size and lug depth but you still know they are there. I was also surprised at how well they grip on wet pavement also. If they hold up to mileage I'll consider them well bought.

Had them on for a year now and they still look brand new, even with heavy trail use! Has a ton of grip offroad for an AT tire.

I've had these tires previously on a Jeep Jl and now on my Ranger FX4. Relatively quiet and great traction.

So far a great tire. Have only had them for a month but I prefer these to the Nittos. Less road noise and better traction in the Powerstroke.

The tires look Great and the ride is terrific. They don’t produce much road noise at all. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments already and they have only been on my truck for about four days.

Very aggressive tread for an All Terrain based tire. Tread depth is quite deep vs. most other AT tires. Good sidewall protection and a good overall look. Mickey Thompson always puts performance above all else so I know these will be a great tire and from all the reviews I've seen they will last well over the 45k mileage warranty. These tires have many deep sipes to help w/ cold & wet weather.

Purchased 35's for my 2020 Ram 2500 4x4 Limited and tires are great. 35's don't rub with the stock 20 inch wheel on stock chassis. Lite road noise, excellent in the snow and just got two feet. Tires look great and have an aggressive look without having to go with a mud tire. Don't shop any longer just purchase, I research everything too much, this was a great purchase!

When I purchased my 2008 Jeep Wrangler I changed out my stock tires to MT Baja ATZ tires at 30 miles. I got 135,000 miles on my first set and had 95,000 miles on my second set when Changed them out. That's why I choose them again for my 3rd time.

I went in for KO2s or Nittos. I saw these and asked the rep, what’s up with these? He explained how for an AT they are very close to the MT but have better road manners. He was right. These are the best tires I’ve ever owned. Tried to research them but didn’t see a ton of reviews like the aforementioned KO2s or TerraGrapplers. So I’m here to tell you take a chance, these are amazing. I live in north Florida so I can’t speak about snow driving. But clay, sand, rain they have performed so well on my 17 TRD Sport Taco.

This is the best semi aggressive off road style tire imo. Extremely durable and long lasting. I will never use any other brand for this truck or any future trucks either.

Bought the 33x12.50x15 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZs for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee that I am building for my son. Great looking tires that perform excellent both on and off road. Will definitely be buying these for my other Jeeps.
