Reviews: K&N 57 Series Performance Air Intake Kits

All is great except two of the big clamps given in the kit are not big enough. I had to buy two more. For the price, it should have been complete. Past that its seems fine.

I've bought a few K&N intakes over the years and they never stop to impress. Was easy to install, anyone with a few tools could do it themselves. Only problem I found was the vent tube sent was one size too small but a little heat from a pocket torch and managed to get it connected.

Was easy to drop in and definitely added more Ponies to the wheels

Shipped quickly and easy to install along with turbo back exaust from MBRP my 2003 7.3 Diesel Excursion has a ton more power and turbo spools up faster

Had to make some slight modifications to intake to get it installed. Once installed it performed as promised, more power and better mileage.

Its really easy to install for the most part. Just have to watch out for alignment. I didn't notice much power but it is just an intake kit. Maybe if it was coupled with an exhaust and a reflash would yeild alot more.

Easy install backed by a great company... cannot get any better than that.

Went from 16 mpg (avg.) to 20 mpg avg. on a 2000 GMC Jimmy 2 Door 4X4, amazing product!

Installed on a '95 Wrangler 4.0. Engine starts faster and runs smoother.

Very easy install. The shape accommodates for the ABS. It is a little tall though so you might not have room for a throttel body spacer if you wanted one.

quick install noticable power gain

I installed this on my 2006 Ford F-250 with the 5.4 it does have a little more power but you have to get over 3000 rpms to really feel it. I havent figured mpg yet but probabaly about the same. Not to hard to intall but you do need to know what you are doing

over all its a great system it was hard to install because i have an 2003 ram 1500 it tells you in the step 24 to drill 7/8 hole in the wrong spot!!!!! but k&n shipped me the harness and the system works great noticed performance and the sound turns heads!!! Gibson single sidesept exhaust with k&n air intake.

I just drove my 2004 Duramax pulling a 6 ton 5th wheel from Denver to Yellowstone with power to spare and a cooler running engine.

Everyday driving and ofcouse that great get up and go that i need. it sure did make a difference of power from a dead stop

It took a few days for the computer to "learn" the new air flow. Getting about 1-2 MPG better in mixed city/highway driving (more highway than city). Went from 16-17 mpg up to 17-18 over several tanks driving the same routes. Should pay for itself in about a year (15,000 mi/yr). The best part though is the sound. Like stock during light driving, then angry under load. I'd probably get even better MPG if it didn't sound so good at deep throttle. Power gains are not noticable - the Hemi has enough at any RPM during daily driving so a little more HP/TQ isn't noticed. I've had these on 2 other vehicles. Huge fuel economy increase in a Chevy S10 4.3L, and a modest improvement in a 2.0L Acrua RSX.
