i am just an everyday driver of a 2008 gmc sierra 4.8L V8 1500 SL regular cab 2wd half ton and i cant be more impressed by this air filter. Its seriously a great piece of engineering and i would recommend it to any sierra owners looking to increase horsepower, acceleration, gas mileage, and engine efficiency. its well worth the price, 4 wheel parts gave me a great price on this item, and i have to say it cant get any better for me, so buy it of u dont have it

This is a great product, I have put one on my last three vehicles. I am amazed at the sound this thing produces, not whiny but does make a hiss when you stomp on it an it changed the exhaust note. Between this and my Flowmaster, I can really feel a big difference. Recommend this product!

The response out of this system was noticed right away. Boost on take off is awesome. I definetly recommend this product as A+ upgrade.

This K & N breather improved my gas mileage instantly. I took my SUV out of the shop and went directly to top off the gas tank,about 10 mile drive. The computer read the new air going into the engine, and when the tank was full, the ETD (estimated travel distance) went a full 70 miles more than before. Of course I used the odometer to check how much more I could travel and I went exactly 62 miles more than I did before installing this K & N. a net 18%.

I bought this high flow K&N Filter Kit for my 1990 F150 W/ a 302, to replace the old stock system which was clogged.With the hood open you can hear the vast amount of air entering the engine. Does improve performance, but will not throw you back in your seat. It was fairly easy to install, took less time without someone attempting to "help" me. Overall great product. Only con I see is the price, over $200, but I suppose the savings will make up for that.

Very good product. Easy to install with good detailed step by step. Improved HP and about fuel by 2mpg.

Best bang for the buck. Increase in horsepower was very noticeable.

Installed intake on my 2000 5.4L f150 with 3" body lift and 35"s. I had to mod the heat shield to get it to work with the body lift. Other than that, I love it! Truck sounds alot louder now and has a lot more pick up. No idea on how much I have improved efficiency, as I haven't driven more than 50 miles.

Installed very easy on 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 5.7L. Daily drive or normal driving shows increase in responsiveness but normal sounds. Step on the gas and the roar is great. Almost sounds like upgraded exhaust. Enough power to feel in the seat of pants (easily 8+ hp). Docs say 15+ hp and it feels like it. Well worth the money for this upgrade. Only cons are that gas mileage takes a dip if you tip into the power too much, which you'll want to do. So mileage dips to 12 MPG when riding the throttle hard. :-)

I couldn't be more happy with this kit. You really notice the power gains around 2000rpm and that's when you can really hear the engine roar. The under hood look is fantastic and everyone loves it. I went with the K&N kit because I know the quality that they put into their product and have always been pleased. I believe the performance of most of the cold air intake kits is relatively the same but I am always impressed by K&N's dyno charts on each of their products. Keep in mind that K&N stands behind their oil-soaked filters and personally this has always been a plus in my book

Easy to install about 45 min and im not a mechanic. 2003 Silverado runs and sounds great.

This kit is great! It comes with everything needed and the best part is it increases miles per gallon and horsepower! If your debating to get it or not, get it!

Easy and quick install

This product in conjunction with a few other minor changes did exactly what I wanted it to do. Working with the 4Wheel Parts guys, I had them install a free flowing exhaust system,(Magnaflow) and a Superchip. I was hoping for a slight increase in performance. Boy, was I wrong, this Jeep is a surprise to those annoying little foreign cars that buzz around on the streets playing Too Fast Too Furious. Don't laugh, at 70 YO you have to take your pleasure where you can find it.

I think the K&N Performance Kit is great! I found it really straight forward and easy to install in my '03 Chevy 1500. I have a 5.3L V8 and noticed a good improvement in gas and throttle response when I installed this product. The pricing is high but worth it in comparison with other products.

Surprisngly sounds better with only a intake, better gas milage and much faster response when i stomp my go pedel. I cant wait to add a exhuast system and see how they complment eachother. totally worth it. My 93 Grand cherokee 6cylnder loves this add
