it was very easy to install. only took about ten minutes to do. only draw back is that it still using the factory intake rubber hoses in stead of getting new hard plastic intake runners like the newer trucks...

This is my first air by kn. So it work good. for my v6 .

This kit is easy to install and shouldn't be a problem for even the most novice mechanics to install. It makes a noticeable difference in power and mpg. The only gripe I have is the noise. It's a little loud when you are hard on the throttle and under a load, like when towing.

instructions were easy to follow...no confusion in locating parts for assembly...

Our 2000 Xterra 4 x 4 (100,000 miles, automatic, great vehicle). Even with the larger V6, has always been gutless up highway hills and long inclines. We added this intake system, dealer installed, just prior to a trip to the Sierras. Expensive. But we did notice a little increase in power that helped on highway hills, but have no idea if it delivered the extra 6 hp promised. What they don't tell you is that you get quite a bit more noise coming from the engine, particularly on acceleration. This bugs my wife, who also uses the Xterra as a daily driver. We have not done a mileage check to see if fuel economy has improved.

The unit installed easily, except some of the small parts were difficult to keep up with. The personnel at 4- wheel were great, the unit arrived when it was supposed to, and they notified me promptly it was in the store. [...]

have it in my f250 powerstroke along w exhaust programer pump and all other aftermarket parts i have to open it up the intake went along great w everything
