Great looking addition to a modified TJ

My only concern is what happens the first time these flares lean into a rock or canyon wall. Don't mind scratches - hope they stay attached like the OEM TJ flares. Would like to see a 3-4 inch width offering because of the above.

Make My day

I added 12.5" x 33" tires to my TJ, the tires were hanging out about 3". My old flares were oxidized. I needed wheel coverage and restoration. These fenders did everything I wanted and then some. I was thrilled at the look I achieved with these Flat Fenders. My TJ has a 3.5" Rancho lift. I have been in some scary sideways positions. So I kept my Jeep low and used these fenders for wheel clearance. The installation is not difficult but it did take about 6 hours to install. I did use air tools to aid in the installation.

Disappointed with 4 Wheel Parts

I am almost happy. I bought new fenders because I was missing 2. After receiving them almost a month ago I still don't have a full set. Very disappointed with 4 Wheel Parts Customer Service. Still haven't heard from them!!

Great looking fender

These fender flares look great and shipping was super fast!! The install was okay if you know what you are doing but all the parts needed some type of clean up or tweeking before install. The pictures on the instructions were garbage and no help at all those could be fixed for sure. All in all they seem like a great product but I still need to test them off-road. Thanks.

jeep xj flat fenders

Looks good. Mild trimming of bodywork. Fitment wasn't bad, but could have been a little better. Only real downfall was how long the back order took.

Installing bushwacker flares

when i had looked up online at these flares i was in the beginning hesitant on getting them because of the reviews. YES, the instructions are JUNK.. but its pretty well common sense. everyone i had talked to said the same thing, "i thought bushwacker short shipped me 14 bolts/nuts/washers".. but in the end the rears only take 2 bolts and nuts on each side and the rest are push clips because there is no getting at the rest of the holes due to the configuration of the wheel wells. what takes the most time is trimming the splash guards (wheel well liners) correctly.. they state "cut to short it wont tuck in the flares or not short enough the flare wont fit"... there actually very to do, rears are a piece of cake because its very simple fit, front takes some time to do. instructions bounce back and forth just confusing stuff... in the end instructions got me in the path and common sense does the rest! would i buy again? yes, sexy flares.

'95 Jeep Wrangler Sahara

Overall great product, keeps the mud and debris from being thrown up into the cab or on the side windows after installing larger tires. One thing I'd change is the side marker light sticks out past edge of fender, and I worried the trees and brush will rip them off. They should be recessed a little more. The other concern is if someone presses down, leans on, or steps out onto the fender, it might peel the double-sided tape free and I'll be starting over.

looks great, instructions were difficult

Took about 2 hours per fender in front, bout a hour each in rear. Would of went much easier had instructions been in color and more descriptive. The previous comment about switching the wires around for lights was a huge life saver. All and all finished product looks amazing and adds a ton of room for tires.

Test the wires before attaching fender.

Great directions except for wiring. Marker lights are LED and are different electrically from factory lights. Directions only stating to switch wires if lights don't work initially. They could have said, "Wire opposite, connect black to white". Aligning screws for final installation is a lot of work. I had the best luck with starting the screws one at a time at the rearward part of the fender utilizing a small punch. Remember to test the marker lights before actually installing fender. Also, the marker lights don't act as turn signals unless other aftermarket wiring is done (Check out YouTube).

Great fenders!

Very nice product, but the instructions could have been better. Pictures were hard to see due to the fact they are photocopied. For the price you'd think they would have color photos. Once the first fender was finished (about 2 hours), the rest was easy. 4wheel parts wanted an extra $400 for installation! Easy enough to do yourself!

Changes the whole look of the jk

Love the look and fit but save yourself some time and buy some grade 8 bolts to replace what comes with these. Four bolts had such bad threads they stripped and had to be cut off. I was only using hand tools so force was not the issue.

Great product

Wanted metal flat fenders, but most of the products I looked at required modification to the body of my jeep. What I liked about these was there ease of installation and no modification to the body. Plus if I ever sell my jeep I can pop these off and put on the OE fenders.

Love the looks and are very durable, but dont like the way they mount on the top. the double stick rubber stripping peels loose. but over all good product just wished the installed differently

great style very durable

I would like to know if fenders can be purchased seperately in case one or more are damaged.

Great product, hard to install

I used these flat flares to gain extra clearance under my Wrangler and to give it more aggressive styling

Would recomend to others

Flares installed easily after I got over the hurdle of understanding the directions and viewing the pictures. It took a few readings of the instructions and looking at the supplied parts before getting over the - What? - factor. Pictures were not very distinct. Could not see objects clearly. Once the first flare was installed the rest went easily. Flares look good and offer adequate tire coverage for 35's on a 10" wheel.

Looks great, simple install

The directions for the lights were unclear. The grounding mount for them did not exist. The gasket material was hard to install smoothly. Took them offroad already, and they helped with the tire spray all over the side of the Jeep.
