nice shock
I needed new shocks because my 10 year old Doetsch Tech's were leaking so I bought these due to reputation. I was suprised how good the ride is now, exceeded expactations!
i cant say a single bad thing about these and there are way to many great things about them. great shock
Good product as always, fit perfect for my TJ Unlimited and gives me great flex and feel on the street. Perfect for vehicles with on road duty and weekend warrior
I bought this 5125 as an auxiliary shock on my 1991 Ford Bronco quad shock setup with a 6" lift. The primary shock is a 5160 with remote reservoir. At first I thought the valving would be too stiff but it really provided stability while letting the suspension to travel and work as it should. I can push the Bronco hard through a corner and the Bilstein help keep it stable. Prior to adding the 5125 it would roll into a corner and dip the nose when coming to a stop. I love the way it rides now, especially without custom valving. Just bolt it on and go.
great ride on the back of a tacoma. the 170 valving is a much better choice for lighter trucks.
I put it on a wk jeep with 4” lift. It works amazingly. However, it’s not a direct fit. You will need a steel bushings and washers to fit in.
Adapters required for the front of my 1977 F250 but the length is perfect.
So far so giod only had them installed on the truck fir a couple of weeks.
Great shocks, quality built. Sad they don't have the same limited life time warranty all their other shocks do. My warranty will expire before my project gets on the road.
Everything went as expected but never got a tracking number. The shocks are universal so had to cut the steel bushing out of my old to put on the bils as the shock was to narrow without and could not torque without distorting the shock mount. 18 ram 1500 with rc 4 inch rear lift
Replaced the worn out Rancho shocks on my 1974 CJ5 with 2.5 rancho lift, WOW night and day I love Bilsteins !!!
These shock absorbers are amazing...However, the measurements on 4wheel parts are a little long. I would go with all of the adjustments, but lower the extended and compressed length by about 2-3 inches would be safer. I am slowly restoring a pretty much bone stock 71 FJ40. The old shock absorbers were OEM and were totally worn-out.
