I purchased this for my Rubicon to go into the stock winch bumper. The installation was pretty straight forward. Now I'm satisfied by knowing I have a quality-built winch and enough power on hand capable to get me out of what i might encounter. WARN is the way to go! My dad had the 12K lb. WARN back in the early eighties back on the farm. Never has let him down. So now I have one. And I trust my WARN will give me the same service.

Top Quality winch that looks great! Had a rough time getting to inner bumper bolts! Took a break and tore everything apart the next day and put everything back together. I'm a perfectionist, it looks great and works great! It is heavy duty!

I use the winch for vehicle recovery, whenever I get my truck stuck while wheelin' off-road. I installed the winch recently and have used it a couple times already. The significant weight savings over the same model with wire rope is a plus when your truck is already fairly heavy. It seemed to have an easy time with my 6300+lb. truck(with me inside it). The winch also looks sharp. I will continue paying close attention to the performance of the winch. So far so good.

Just installed the winch and swapped out the hook that comes with it for a Factor 55 Pro-Link. The metal support on the end of the synthetic rope would not fit inside the mount opening of the Pro-Link. I had to hammer the metal end to flatten it enough in order to get the Pro-Link on. I also have a 4 year old Zeon Platinum on another vehicle where this was not an issue. Not sure if it’s just this item or if it’s a quality control issue but considering that Warn owns and sells Factor 55 products, you’d think compatibility would be on point. I’m still a fan of Warn though and won’t own any other winch!
