Convertible control pack can be attached to the winch or remotely mounted, allowing for various winch mounting options and looks (Relocation kit required and sold separately). Large diameter, aluminum winch drum reduces rope wear, is light weight, and has an integrated rope anchor for easy rope installation. IP68 rated for improved winch sealing to keep the elements out. Second generation WARN owner!
I purchased this for my Rubicon to go into the stock winch bumper. The installation was pretty straight forward. Now I'm satisfied by knowing I have a quality-built winch and enough power on hand capable to get me out of what i might encounter. WARN is the way to go! My dad had the 12K lb. WARN back in the early eighties back on the farm. Never has let him down. So now I have one. And I trust my WARN will give me the same service.

Top Quality winch that looks great! Had a rough time getting to inner bumper bolts! Took a break and tore everything apart the next day and put everything back together. I'm a perfectionist, it looks great and works great! It is heavy duty!

Q: Will I need a mounting plate for a 2017 jk Rubicon Recon edition factory front bumper? Answer this question
A: Yes, depends on what winch you buy. It will cost another 3 hundred and sum for a Warn and puchase a good deep well 18mm socket as well as a universal and long extension for your socket set for inside bumper nuts. They are very hard to get to!

A: 10k. If you use snatch rings or pulleys, you can increase the power of your winch with mechanical advantage. Check out Youtube.
