Nice looking and easy to install well made has a lot of nice add on options
It was a super easy install, only one of the four front bolt holes on the vehicle bumper frame required minor drilling to fit bumper bolts. Great looking product!
This bumper is great. heavy duty with a real nice look.
I just installed this on a 2012 Wrangler and it looks way better than the stock bumper. However when installing the directions were not clear on where to use washers and how much you need to drill out the holes like it says in the directions. Also the holes for the add on parts where the stainless parts go the powder coat made it rough going to screw in those bolts. I would recommend this to other to install! Looks great and gives the Jeep a better looking front end.
Im not sure why the other two reviewers commented like they did. The Bumper is tough and looks good. It was not the easiest to install but the instructions clearly stated that the holes on the frame would need to be drilled out to fit. Once that is done the install is much easier but if you try to do it witout reading the directions then, I guess, you end up writing negative reviews. I like the bumper and the system it uses. Except for the added weight I think it is a great addition to the look and use of my jeep.
The first thing to do is read instructions and follow them,I had no problem installing the bumper, the hardest thing to do is get the o.e.m bumper off,I was bout ready to get the torch and melt it off lol.matches the xrc fenders well, and I too am also waiting on bull bar. BACK ORDER!! But it's all good
Just installed this bumper w/ bull bar and a Superwinch. Looks great. Mounting bolts were difficult to line up. Would be cool if the stainless end covers were black. Can't beat the price. I would buy it again.
This bumper is a beast, I love every inch of it. Installed on a 2015 JKURHR to replace the flimsy factory/aftermarket bumper. Installation Notes: 1) Follow the instructions with regards to installing and wiring the winch first. If not you will be removing it to do so... 2) Be prepared to "persuade" bolts to line up on your particular vehicle. Remember, they are made to fit several models. 3) Loctite all bolts, or you will replace them later. 4) Lastly this is a two man job, especially if you have a winch on it. Much too heavy to safely install solo.
The bumper looks great and my Warn VR8000 fit right in with room to spare. Seems to be well built. Wobble sockets and extensions made life a lot easier. The instructions are pretty vague, especially for a novice.
I have yet to try out the product to it's fullest but so far so good. Horrible on the installation though. Bolt holes for the main section had to be drilled out more then what was stated. I also bought the full width extensions as I love the fogs. Was told that I would be able to connect with the stock wiring...... Not even close. Cut the wires and hard wire it. Then your good. I also bought the stinger. Not to bad to install. A little tight as I installed the XC8 Winch first. (Highly recommend). As far as off road durability. I question the stinger as its a bolt on and not welded. We shall see.
Nice design but I had to drill out some holes quite a bit to make it fit.
