Great bumper for the price

I have heard both good and bad things about Smittybilt. I bought this as my first mod to my jeep, had no problems installing it. The other day I was trail riding, and hit a swamp. This bumper saved my jeep front collapsing the front end. I also recently installed a winch plate and winch. one problem was that the winch plate was straight, and this bumper has welds; meaning you have to cut the winch plate. No big deal tho. I would recommend over and over again, was to my door in two days.

I put this on my 02 tj 7 years ago as a replacement for the bent factory bumber.(don't ask what happened to it.) I've been backtrail riding for over 30 years and all the jeeps I had really earned there keep, but this bumper was easy to install, looks good,(drilled holes for a third set of lights.)and has always saved the front corners from stupid mistakes for over 7 years.when I finally wear out this jeep , the bumper comes off and moves on to the next one.

Took 5 minutes to install and has stood up to everything i have put it against. Looks intimidating and really catches eyes

This was a very nice addition to my Jeep, it looks great and is tough as heck, money well spent and now my finders are protected.

The stinger looks great and really gives some space between the grill and any other object. if you do offroading and have oversized tires, I suggest this piece of equipment. I also suggest you get the D-rings for easy towing and a winch.

Adds strength and style to my 06 LJ Rub. I live in the 4 corners area and have a lot of deer and elk on the roads. I got them so they may save me and my jeep if i ever hit one. It made the LJ look tuff and made it a safer ride. Lots of room for add on's and won't hender cooling.

I needed a replacement for a stock bumper, and the cost, added tabs for more lights and options for Winch made this a no brainer

Strong and effeciemt mounting on 2012 Jk, easy to run XRC8 winch and fairlead. Bought during promotion that included two pro comp 9851 lights. Unlike older SRC bumpers only has two mounts for lights instead of 4.

Its one hell of a tough bumper for sure i had a 04 ford f150 hit me 5-01-12 when they were pulling out of there spot next to my jeep and well the bumper has no damage done to it just needs a new paint job, trucks rear fender is another story it tore up and bent the hell out of their fender and got stuck to their truck so if they hit you like they hit my jeep they aint driving off, but there 1300dollars worth of damage to my jeep and my frame is bent a little but my bumper is perfectly fine so its stronger then your frame so its so worth the money. Cops at my school were impressed to see no damage done to it after we freed it from being stuck in the side of a truck

Bought it for my 92 YJ and love it, easy to install and makes the jeep look hot and makes me feel safe, also makes other drivers think twice before getting in front of me lol

its on my jeep, replaced the ugly one that comes from the dealer, looks great, was simple an really fast to install, took about 10 minutes... max.

This product is awesome. Great replacement for that stock piece of scrap bumper. It adds a mean look to the jeep and is easy to install. Had to grind off some OEM booger welds and that was it. My friend is [*] that I have a nicer bumper for [$] than his custom $500 job. Took like 30 min. Done.

Product is easy to install. Simply unbolt the old bumper and slide this one on, re-bolt, and you are done. Has a great aggressive look. Took me no more than 30 minutes for the whole install. Overall, awesome product.

awesome product one downfall was that i had to do some grinding on the frame of the jeep itself, some welds were to tall it wouldnt fit, but easily grinded them smaller, had to make holes in bumper wider to fit on the jeep as well. took about and hour. great look and awesome design though.

My roommate totalled out honda accord lastnight did nothing to jeep and only a little white paint on the bumber!!!!!!!!!!!!

It really doesn't get much better, only thing I didn't like was the fact that I had fabricate some brackets to mount my fog lights but it looks amazing and even better than before. Very Very strong!!!!!

This stinger really improved the look of my Jeep. Took about 10 minutes to install, and was VERY reasonably priced compared to other front bumpers!
