Great jack for the price!

I needed a jack to pack in the outdoor buggy for a "just in case" circumstance and for help with other chores in the pasture. The jack worked great lifting the jeep up to remove barbed wire twisted around the axle even though we were in a heavy brush with poor footing for the jack. Have also used the jack to stretch wire rebuilding fence. I had wanted a "made in USA" jack, this one is not but, seems to be up to the chores its had.

As you can see in the pics, It did exactly what it was intended to. Every time. It also fits perfectly across, inside of the back of a JK Wrangler. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE "LIFT MATE" ALSO!

The Smitty-Bilt (China) 54 inch 'Hi-Lift' styled off road - trail jack is a good "back-up" to my real US made Hi Lift Jack. The Smitty-Bilt jack's fit and finish was very good, the castings were good. With the addition of a 3/8ths stainless quick link and a 3/8ths shackle the Smitty-Bilt jack can serve more functions for pull as well as lift. It is about 5 inches shorter than the hi-lift, but costs 40% less. The 2 piece handle with rubber travel holder was a pleasant surprise. A solid 4 Stars of 5 possible Stars. The last star is deserved when the jack lifts its rated capacity.

no problem lifting up my jeep on the trail, light weight to store on the hood. Just a great buy overall!!

This is a significantly better jack than the TSC one I bought first. I wish it had more accessory options like the Hi-Lift, but for the money and my use- it is great.

Welded a larger foot plate for more stability. Use in my Shop, Truck, and Rv.

Keep It protected from rust. Use it before you need it. Look to see what other accessory you should buy to have with you.

Not the best Jack out there but is a pretty [@] good one.

[*] descent trail jack. Not a high lift, but you're not paying the price for a 54" high lift either. Better then what you would get a "horror fright" by far. I have a few "extra" parts that I'm not sure what to do with though. I have an alluminum clamping bracket thingy and a huge freakshly huge 1" thick by 8" long grade a bolt. What is THAT for? Nice jack though, I;m happy with it.

This jack is well worth the money. It is well built even though it's not the name brand. I'm sure I'll get many years of use out of this baby.

This lift will not work with the Hi-Lift yellow colored wheel lifting sling. The bolt hole in the lift doesn't align with the sling.

Ordered on line and called by the local store a week later to pick it up. Free shipping. Come to find out, the store has them in stock. I waited for no reason. The store never returned my initial contact message.

Took a shot at this jack to see just how good/bad it was compared to HiLift. To be honest, I find it to be very good quality and able to get the job done. The only bad thing about the product was the foot plate, the tube steel receiver seemed to be fabricated and welded with a bit of a slant to it. I like things to be perfect so I cut the tube and re-welded it back straight. Jack works flawlessly, very nice to have all the attachments come with the purchase (keeper, foot plate, winch lug) and for the price, I don't see myself buying another hi priced jack for the name.

Jack lifted the truck fine is a bit heavy and not to the Hi Lift quality. Will still be a usable tool on the trail and for [$]was a good buy.

great price for a great product. easy to use and comes with its own isolater (keeps handle 2gether)unlike other brands you gotta buy this piece for a extra 10/15bucks.

so far I have not had to use it, but it makes me feel alot better having it. If you are doing any kind of offroading you should have one.
