Reviews: Rugged Ridge XHD Front Bumpers

Bent studs, small nuts and washers for fog lights took more time to fix than necessary. but only a minor pain.

I just wanted everyone to know that this bumper will fit a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. Most places sell a bracket allowing you to relocate the transmission cooling pump. It is no big deal. So if you have a 2012 wrangler buy this bumper if you like it because it will fit. I have the front and back bumper and it works great for rock crawling.

I was very happy with this bumper. The install was very easy, the extra accessories are available and it has a very nice coating on it. I am kind of disappointed that the skid plate is so much and I don't think I will be buying the matching rear bumper as the price is crazy because you have to buy the bumper and tire holder. I really like the expand-ability of this bumper. Depending on what I am off to have fun in, I can add different accessories.

The modular design of this bumper is a great option if you live in a state with annual safety inspections. I can attach the ends for inspection then remove them. The protection for the stock fog lamps is great. It looks great. Mounted an XRC8 winch with this for installation which was a breeze.

Love this bumper for my Jeep. Works well with all brands of winches and has held up in many hard pulls. The finish on it is great, and holds up awesome in northern Minnesota's weather. I also like the idea that you can add parts and take them off as you please with no issues at all. The only issue that I have with this bumper is that I wish it had a place to my plate on it, other than that I love the whole system.

Had to drill two holes in frame for the cj7 application.

For my money, well worth it.

This bumper is heavy duty and has so many mod options available it can fit anyone's needs.

I bought and installed this bumper by myself. It was easy to install and it looks awesome. I have the optional D-rings and removable end sections. I love it and would definitely recommend it over other, more expensive bumpers.

no complaints great price on on great product

First off I enjoy doing business with this company (4wd) as their service and shipping are great. The stinger fit perfectly, but the bumper did strip one bolt on the top mounting point. The cross member at the top of the hoop is not quite square, but the unit is solid and the finish is good.

This stinger is alright. It does a good job holding the winch hook when not in use. You also have visibility of it over the hood while driving. I would much rather purchase the rugged ridge double x striker but it wasn't available when I got this one.
