Great product, easy install, totally eliminated my oversized spare tire rattle.

Great tire carrier for my 35’ spare. The carrier on my Hanson bumper was rattling like crazy. I had enough and took the carrier off the bumper and replaced it with this. Works great and is completely silent. Much easier to open the tailgate now, too (which pleases the wife).

Way better than factory. Very heavy duty. I love this purchase.

The tire carrier was perfect. Easy to install and solved by spare clearance problem. Delivery time was not good at all. Took 8 days to ship an in stock item, and only after I inquired about the delay. My previous order with 4wheel parts was much more expeditious, so I hope this time was the outlier

Heavy duty construction, well built, tight hinge pins. Mounted a 35" tire on carrier, no squeaks or rattles. Easy to follow instructions and a complete kit. I like that my gate remained in the factory configuration, only one thing to open. The hinge also has detents for holding the gate fully opened, a nice feature.

This is a solid tire carrier! There are some other carriers that are nothing more than temporary fixes for a long term issue: how to support a bigger tire. I had a 35' tire on stock wheel that wouldn't fit with the stock tire carrier and after market bumper. Rugged Ridges' was fairly priced, though it seems like a lot, think of it as an investment. I'd rather spend more money and protect my Jeep than risk damage to my gate door. There are no rattles on the door. You get to keep your third brake light as well, if that matters to you. You also don't have to buy a new bumper with a tire carrier. Overall, this a great product and worth the money.

So easy to install, took just 30minutes. i was worried that i would not be able to use my bike rack carrier, had a inch to spare. not bad for it's prices. Wish i had bougth it sooner!

the original, 11 year old, carrier had cracked across the top and had many small cracks at the bottom. if this carrier ever cracks it will be sometime after the rest of the jeep falls apart. heavy, solid, a bit pricy.

Product is definitely HD and easy to install. My only issue was the hinges were extremely stiff, so trying to manipulate them during the install was difficult.

Not expensive and does the job. Quality material. I have a toyo 35? and a poison spyder bumper. It?s a very tight fit and the tire rests on the bumper, which I actually like because it supports the heavy tire and not all the weight is on the tailgate.

I bought this tire carrier and the Rugged Ridge rear bumper at the same time. I was having problems with my 35" spare tire rattling on the stock tailgate and decided this was the best way to remedy it. [...] Installation was relatively easy for something so heavy. I highly recommend having someone help you with the install but I was able to put it on by myself. The bumper and tire carrier are quite heavy, but that is a good thing. So far it appears that this is a great product and it all fit together quite nicely. Only problem is that the tailgate stops that touch the rubber tailgate guards on the stock tailgate would not fit with my 35" tire installed, but it does not appear that they are needed.
