Overall, love the product. Smooth ride all around with the monotone shocks and springs and couldn't be happier with the height and look I wanted to get out of it. Couple of issues I had was the upper hole for the rear track bar bracket didn't line up with the frame mount hole so I had to oversize the bracket hole to fit. Also, save yourself some time and just use some 2" long 5/16 bolts with washers and self locking nuts for the front bump stops instead of the provided self tapping bolts (they are worthless). Got the brake line brackets and exhaust spacers installed as well.

I was presently surprised to actually get 3.5" of lift for a 2.5" kit. The installation instructions need to be expanded for a first time installer. Make sure to disconnect the brake line brackets from the frame and the undercarriage so as not to damage the lines when dropping the axles. The new springs (coils) need to be compressed to fit into position and you can rent the tool at your local auto parts store. The most difficult part of the installation was the front shock top mounting nut and bushing. There is not an offset nut in order to tighten the top nut of the front shocks and I had to use channel lock pliers (no damage occurred) on the tube shaft in order to tighten and lock the nylon nut in place. The space on a 2016 JKU is very tight and I had to use needle nose pliers to set the nut in place. If possible use a ratchet box wrench to tighten the nylon nut into position.

Got this lift and installed myself- pretty straightforward and doable if you have some reasonable mechanical skills. Things I ran into: 1. The lift restored the factor rake which I did not like. So I added a 0.75inch spacer on the front and sits much better. 2. I developed a death wobble that I did not have with just my previous 1.5 inch front spacers. The only way I was able to fix this was to add an adjustable front track bar. This also fixed the shift of about 3/4 inch to the front drivers side. 3. Alignment was barely in caster- the shop would need to drill out space for the caster washers that come with the kit=$85. Rather than do that I bought geometry correction brackets- HUGE improvement in ride and fixed caster. 4. Rear was off center too and left is 0.5 inches higher than right and 0.25 inches left shifted with with track bar bracket installed. So, this required an adjustable rear track bar. All in all I am happy with the kit, just consider you will probably want to add those 4 upgrades- spacer, front and rear adjustable track bars and geometry correction brackets. Thank goodness I did all these myself or would have been major extra $. Put 34" tires on and looks good. Ride is as good as factory. Used Jscan to adjust speedometer.

Raymond at the Redondo Beach location chose this kit based on my needs. I wanted good height, moderate off-road capability, and a good highway feel as my Gladiator is also my every day vehicle. PROS: very capable so far on trails (nothing advanced yet); excellent handling on highway; no rubbingat the front with 35’s. CONS: None.

I just upgraded my 2020 JT with the RE 3.5 suspension/lift. The added height is perfect with my new BF Goodrich 35’s. The feel on the road is extraordinary. Incan really feel the road and the kit handles the road very smoothly. Love this kit.

What a great upgrade. Ride is a lot smoother and lift height is perfect. The progressive coil springs really make a difference and the shocks are seriously what should come stock. Now wondering why I didn't get this done sooner. Thanks, Rubicon Express. The progressive coil lift kit with monotube shocks is perfect.

I had a Rough Country lift on my first jeep and though it was inexpensive it didn't provide a good ride and was very stiff. This lift was much better than stock suspension. The progressive springs absorb every obstacle with a comfortable ride on and off the road. This kit includes the bilstein shocks which are a great bargain. With this lift I clear my 35" tires.
