I found the actual product to be exactly what I needed, and quality of machine work was smooth, and accurate. The only issue I had was the install description. Insert was accurate, but did not mention that after product is installed, the top of the leaf spring "Tie Bolt" must be fully exposed above the shim and engage into the axle seat opening. The smaller hole in the shim is only to accommodate the threaded part of the tie bolt, and should not be drilled out. I missed this initially, until another "4 Wheeler" pointed it out to me after I had the "pre-drilled" holes drilled larger to accommodate the top of the pin. That said, I then had to place a hardened washer on the tie bolt, so the top was fully exposed and would fully engage into the axle seat. NOTE- The reason the tie bolt must fully be engaged into the axle seat, is to prevent the axle from sliding along the leaf spring, when torque is encountered during driving! Worked just fine. They shimmed the heck out of it. Material is of good quality metal, not the aluminum that came with the original RE lift kit.

Brought my driveline geometry right where it needed to be.

I have a 1990 Toyota 4runner SAS with a dana 44 up front. The previous owner had not corrected the pinion angle, and welded the shock mount tabs directly on top of the housing. Under the truck, it appeared that the pinion flange pointed directly toward the back of the vehicle and at a downward angle. The custom front driveshaft that was sold with the truck would bind so bad, it could only be turned by pulling the shaft off. I bought these shims after measuring how much clearance I would have with the drag link on my TG high steer kit. After drilling the 1/4 hole out to 3/8, and after finding a longer bolt, these 8 degree shims pointed the pumpkin up just right to allow the front shaft from binding, even at full flex. Solid steel shims won't break like aluminum ones you find elsewhere. Don't be cheap, buy the steel shims you won't regret it. Also alot cheaper than having a shop cut and re weld all the mounts on your front dana.

Comes as a pair! thats 2 pieces, i had to wonder untill it came... Excellent quality and a nice high angle 8deg!
