it don't get any better than this

This is the most well built piece I think I've installed on my jeep.after instalation I couldn't believe how tight the steering felt. this is one solid pc I don't think you could bend or break this even if you tried too .

Beefy upgrade!

This upgrade is a must if your stock tie rod and drag link are worn out and the price won’t destroy your wallet. Installation is not for the less mechanically inclined as you will need to align your steering wheel and toe for your Jeep. Have it installed professionally if you have any doubts!

Worth the money, be aware of possible mods

Installed this on my 2003 Wrangler with a Rubicon Express 5.5 in short arm super flex short arm kit. This is a very heavy duty steering system compared to the factory original parts. I highly recommend this part. The main reason I did not rate it 5 stars is because I had to grind half of the stock sway bar mount on the axle passenger side as it hit the tie rod end where it joins the drag link. The instructions say nothing about this and no review I ever read said anything about this problem. I hope the sway bar mount does not crack as there is only about 1/2 inch or a little less of material left on the front of the bolt hole. I'm running a Skyjacker RockLock Sway Bar at full tension as this is a daily driver and needs a lot of sway bar for on road driving. If you are running the stock sway bar that is even stiffer than the Skyjacker and will put even more stress on the sway bar mount so it is defiantly something to consider if you are going to put this on your daily driver jeep. Overall other than the grinding issue it was very easy to install. One point to emphasize, when you install the tie rod end into the drag link MAKE SURE TO ALIGN THE COTTER KEY HOLE WITH THE SLOT IN THE DRAG LINK. Sorry for yelling but I was not paying attention to this and ended up with it 90 degrees out so I had to safety wire it instead of using the cotter key. The instructions do say to do this so don't do what I did and make sure you read the instructions carefully 2 or 3 times!

As advertised

Everything was there and it all fit. Can't compare to other aftermarket, but way more substantial than stock.

Excellent

Boots fit well on stock steering, flex ties don't work well, but the fit is good enough to use bailing wire etc as replacement for the flex tie. NOTE: These are rubber and shaped way better than the generic boots that are everywhere. The shape, fit and material mean a lot unless you just like to replace boots every 3 months.

Its beef but not indestructable

Currie is quality stuff, the currectlync tie rod is no exception. I have purchased this to replace one I have bent on the trail. This affected my steering but I was able to drive it home without a problem. I may offroad 2 or 3 times a year, this tie rod ensures that I'll get safely back on the road and back to my driveway.
