Great product - straight forward to install but a bit noisier then I would have liked

6 months ago I bought a Rubicon and the words out of my 5?3? wife was something to the effect of how fast I could get steps on of some sort. Well since I?m disabled the regular tube steps won?t cut it for me. Second of all since I do wheel pretty hard core I can?t have anything down there hanging around that?s going to get ripped off. Then low and behold, into my life comes Rock-Slide Engineering. Their steps have handled the abuse they?ve received so far just fine and I?m confident they?ll take a whole bunch more. The big advantage is my wife can get in fine and I have no concerns at all about doing some suspension work and putting 37?s on next. Keep on wheelin? and try to keep the rubber parts down.

This is a very well engineered product!! Very happy with them!!! Makes access to my Jeep so much easier for friends and family with loosing precious ground clearance.

After about 3 years of owning these steps, both step motors had begun to fail. I reached out to RSE and they offered that if i sent the steps back to them, they would rebuild the steps under warranty!!!! Unfortunately, when i received the steps back they were damaged during shipping. I contacted RSE and described the situation to them. A couple of weeks later, a brand new set of step sliders were sent to me free of charge. I am extremely happy with the RSE products and their customer service. I would recommend these steps sliders and RSE to everyone!

Works great. Like many of the other posts I had to buy some grommets, some gasket maker, and drill out the backseat holes for the cables. But other than that I followed the video and install went fine for a novice mechanic. The steel appears ro be same thicjness as factory rock sliders.

I had a chance to get up close with these steps at Overland West in Flagstaff. I purchased the steps even though I didnt yet have my new 2019 Jeep. The day I got the Jeep, I lifted it, put 35 BFG KM3's and the Rock Slide Engineering steps. They are amazing! My wife is 5'2" and she can get in and out of the jeep with ease. I was out at Sand Hollow Park in Utah and ran "The Fallen" trail - although I took some bypasses, my sliders still got a work out. Thank you RockSlide for an awesome product.

Installed these with ease after fully reading the instructions. Took a few hours and they work great. Don?t forget to order the door delete kit if you plan on riding without the doors and want the steps to still operate.

I just purchased the Rock-Slide Engineering Gen 3 Steps. They look and function great. I also added the skid plate, lights and door delete kit. I didn't install these myself, I had 4WP in Houston handle it. They did a great job, would highly recommend their services. I've seen a lot of reviews about the lack of customer service, I must say I too had issues when trying to contact their CA office. You get put on hold and no one ever picks up. I ended up contacting the 4WP here in Houston directly and they were great. But would say, if I had to rely on their CA office, I would have purchased these through someone else.

My wife and daughters love these combination rock sliders/power steps. It makes getting into the Jeep so much easier. Installation instructions aren't the best as there's steps that you take to eliminate Installation time and make it a lot easier. I had to Reem out the holes in the Jeep to make them fit better. Once I did this the other side installed in half the time.

Awesome product. Got shipped fast. Great look. Makes a huge difference in getting in and out of my lifted jeep.
