Reviews: Rock Hard 4x4 Front Seat Harness Bars

I have a 1982 CJ and alrady had the front Rock Hard kit. This kit is easy to install and has all the hard ware. The shipping was extremly stlow. It took them a month to get it to me here in Utah. Overall its a great product!

Through on a coat of paint, line it up and bolt it on, can't get much easier. I also cut the factory roll bar foam and slots in the covers to be able to re-use the stock pads. Not a replacement for a weld in cage, but probably one of the most solid bolt in options available.

Simple to install and keeps out of the way of rear passengers, so now I can install a harness without blocking access to the back seat. If you need to be able to get to the back seat this works great, just paint, fit and bolt in. I did have to trim the edge of the speaker pod a little, about an inch, to get it sit properly though.

Essential component for my Cherokee xj. Added safety and I used it to mount some 6so speakers to the lateral side bars. Well built and easy installation.

Put mine on 14 years ago. It came bare so i used some spray paint before installing. I noticed a slight stiffening in cornering right away. The lift i had was fairly soft. I use it all the time. You can hang almost anything from it. High lifts. Shovels. Currently i use paracord and carabiners to secure water jugs. Also use it to connect a tarp for shade. Oh yeah and for rear protection.

The harness bar works well in my CJ-7. The height is adjustable . Relatively simple to install. Will need to be painted or powder coated.

Fairly simple concept that is easy to install with great quality welds

Strengthens my TJs roll cage. I you use a safari top this can reduce or eliminate the flapping noise at the rear. I accidentally rolled my TJ and the straight across bar did its job.

I purchased this product to work in conjunction with my Best Top Safari Top. Will purchase additional Rock Hard 4x4 Parts in the near future!

The bar fit perfectly and was well constructed.The clamps are super strong.The hoop to position the seat belts however was not positioned directly behind my seats but off center to the middle.It will work but belts are a little kinked now so this is reason for 4 stars not 5.

Easy to paint, easy to install, I can still recline my seat slightly. I feel safer in the jeep with hardrock bars attached. With 4 or 5 point seatbelts the shoulder belt attachment points are critical to avoid spinal compression injury. Using this bar makes attaching the shoulder belt to a safe location much easier!
