Reviews: Rancho RS5000 Shock Absorbers

I have 94 wrangler and replaced the stock shocks with these. the ride and handling have improved greatly,it feels like a new jeep. can't wait to take it in the mud.

These were a vast improvement over the stock Jeep OEM shocks...my Jeep now rides better than my wife's car.

I replaced my existing Rancho shocks on 1969 CJ5. The jeep had these on it when I bought it and they performed very well on and off road. I don't know how long the existing had been on but it was long enough for part numbers.to have changed. I called Rancho and they provided new part number and they were a perfect fit.

Purchased these online and picked up at store. The shocks were easy to install and they work great.

Gentleman we spoke to at 4wheel parts said they would fit. We were skeptical, because they were a different number than what was on the truck. They work perfectly. Excellent job!

I've always used Rancho shocks so I can;t really compare them...but they were easy to install and I'm happy with the improved suspension on my lifted truck. I'll be in tiuch abiut the front shocks soon.

I use my 2500HD for towing hay, tractors/cars on trailers and everyday pickup use. These gave me all around performance!

For my xj 3" lift Great ride. Smooth. Nothing.

I had to take the front shocks in to a local shop to be installed because of my not having the correct tools to complete the job safely. I was able to install the rear shocks and the steering stabilizer myself which saved me some money. This is not my first set of Rancho shocks and I will continue to purchase Rancho products when needed.

I replaced all 4 shocks on my 05 Z71 suburban because the originals were just beat. It nosed dive badly under braking and the rear end would bounce wildly on potholes. These ranchos and far better than the oems even when they were good. No more bounce or nose dive they elimnated almost all body roll. I have had a torn up piece of road on my way to and from work i used to crawl over it now i take it at 35-40 mph and the burb just floats right over. If it weren't for all the dust i wouldn't even know! They were a snap to install the rubber boots seem to be high quality and they come with new rubber isolators and washers. About the only thing i Didn't like is the dust boots are held on by a zip tie. I was a bit nervous about the price but with the ride and a $50 rebate on 4 shocks I have no regrets.
