Easy Install

I used these as an upgrade/replacement of the factory struts. I went with the Rancho because of the proven quality and I wanted to level the front of my truck. These installed very easy, and the ride is great, an incredible improvement over the Ford factory struts. If you're thinking about getting them, just go ahead and pull the trigger on them.

Best money I ever spent on shocks

I have a 09 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 I put a fab four front bumper with a 12,000 warn in it the front squatted do to the added weight after installing the quiklift it allowed me to run the bigger tire without any problem this past weekend my boys and I did some hard 4 wheeling in the white mountains we took a few jeep roads and never hit a body panel I'm really happy with the out come. Thank You RANCHO

Good product.

Quality product. Worked as described. Ride still smooth. Would recommend the loaded quick lift to someone. Only problem was the nuts on the strut shafts were loose which caused a rattle. Tightened them and problem was solved.

This is a great product

The install was simple. It gives a smooth ride with an adjustable feature. Have not tried to make the adjustment yet. I did not get the instructions on how to make all the adjustments when I received the product.

just what I needed

Exactly what I was looking for. Instructions were vague, but with a bit of mechanical ability, anyone can do the swap. A bit more info about settings on strut would be nice, as you just guess at where the adjustment knob is left at. It took me as long to round up the needed tools as it did to do the job. First one took almost 2 hrs, second one took 30 minutes. Some socket/wrench sizes in the instructions were different than what was on my truck. Next time I would make sure I had every piece needed before I started. Truck looks great.

Easy to install on the f150. Make sure to have the simple hand tools to pull apart and put back together. Great product

Make sure you have all the tools, jacks

Just make sure you have all the sockets and jacks necessary for install. I did the driver side and had to quit for the night. Took over 3 hours for that side. As had to go to parts store for more sockets. 1 1/16 for the lower bolt. Couldn't find the size for the nut as it is metric. Just held it with vise grips and used my impact on the bolt side and it came right off.

Great alternative to lifts and spacers

This might be the best thing to happen to trucks since rack and pinion steering. These struts are great for those who don't need to have a 12' tall truck.

Great product, expensive and no support fromseller

Excellent product and easy install with the pre lift. Adjustments are nice to be able to make on the go. Product came slightly damaged where the finish cost was scraped off in some parts down to metal. Here's hoping it doesn't rust. 4x4 parts doesn't respond to e-mails and hold times are ridiculous.

Rancho's the way to go!

Overall the rancho quicklift struts on the front & rancho shocks on the rear really improved the ride & looks of my truck. I installed these myself using the video on youtube (the instructions that came with the struts are very vague). Took about 6 hrs. altogether, that's both fronts & rears. Totally removed the factory rake from my 2005 ford f-150 fx4. Looks & drives great!

Great shocks so far!

If you can install a shock, you can install these. Took 30 min each side.

Great Strut

Purchased these Rancho struts and XL9000 shocks for my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD. Installed shocks myself and a local garage install struts. Actual lift at wheel well is about 2.1" (not 1.1" as product states). Front bumper is close to 3" higher. Both struts & shocks are currently on stiff setting (9) and I can tell a huge difference from factory. I plan to try different settings soon. This seems like a much better way to level a vehicle compared to spacers. Unfortunately, when I called my local 4WD Parts store, they only wanted to talk about Pro-Comp...even when I asked specific questions about the Ranch quickLIFT. So, I ordered online from 4WD Parts (free shipping). Very glad I did as they ride great.

2003 Toyota Tacoma 4WD

Installed the Quicklift shocks on the front and 9000XL on the rear as called for by rancho for leveling truck. It raised the front end but not level. The front end is now 2-3" higher than rear. No problem, will just end up getting blocks or springs but do not expect to level your tacoma.
