Reviews: Pro Comp Steering Stabilizer Cylinder

I use the product on my 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.0, 2" of lift on 32x11.5R15 tires, so you know my suspension gets a massive workout whenever the Jeep leaves pavement. The stabilizer does happen to blow out a few times a year, but it is covered by a warranty for the lifetime you own it. I have yet to actually break it other than blowing it out, but it can take a beating on rocks.

It replaced my other steering stabilizer that went bad. It cleared up a lot of road vibration on the front end.

This is definitely the best work horse for the money. I have drove soft and hard and it never has failed me ever since it was installed. It definitely calms the big tiers down. It rides better than stock.

I purchased this steering stabilizer to help with the shimmy that comes from running 35's on a short wheelbase Jeep. It works like a charm and my Jeep now drives smoothly down the SoCal roads!

I had just purchased a 2004 Jeep and almost immediately developed "Jeep Wobble". I talked to the previous owner and said that he had just replaced the steering stablizer. I decided to replace it anyway and immediately solved the problem. Since then I had the suspension and alignment checked and found no problems. No more Wobble and one happy jeep owner.

You don't notice a big difference but the big thing is that it's really easy to install and it works good

i use this product every day on and off road works vary well.

A must to stop the wiggle ,super easy to install ,10min at most.

This is for the Miami Lakes location, those guys are great, [...], my Jeep drives like a new baby. Now i have to save up for my 4 inch lift kit :)

I had this steering stabilizer installed on my daughters 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee when we installed new tires and rims. It made a great addition to the pro comp suspension that we already have on the Jeep. My daughter stated that it made a difference when driving the Jeep with the larger tires.

Pro Comp never lets me down. The steering stabilizer came with all necessary hardware to replace my factory stabilizer that was junk. If you're adding a stabilizer and don't have existing mounting hardware make sure you get the optional mounting kit. No hassle installation as expected. Bumps at low and high speeds are under control without any bump-steer thanks to this stabilizer.

I added this when I went up to 35x12.50's on my wrangle ard I could definitely feel the improvement in steering. I'd recommend this if you're going with larger tires on any vehicle.
