Reviews: MBRP XP Series Exhaust Systems

I have had this exhaust mounted on my 2014 Tahoe for almost a week now, and I must say it is exactly what I was looking for. It is definitely throatier than stock, but not to the point of being obnoxious, and I can tell a slight increase in performance simply by alleviating the restrictions on the outflow of exhaust. I’m pretty sure I will be gaining a little better fuel economy, as I have already noticed that the instant economy setting is showing higher mpg in most driving conditions, except when I get my foot into the throttle, because it sounds so good.

Great fit, installed in about 15 minutes. Sounds awesome and its stainless steel.

This was easy to install, looks and sounds GREAT! Only install suggestion I have is to remove the rear factory hanger, attach to the exhaust, then reattach the hanger. Makes the install much easier.

Installed on my 2000 tj... Sounds great!!! I went from a quiet jeep to a nice little growl.... Was easy to install... I had old exhaust off and this on in 35 mins.... Best sound comes at just over 2500 rpms...

Only installed 2 days ago. The installation went just as described. As a job should but rarely does. Nice throaty sound, but not too loud. There appears to be a little better throttle response, doesn't feel as restricted as stock. Possibly more power, but on a jeep every little bit helps. Haven't driven enough to see any fuel difference yet.

I installed this system on my 11 ram 1500 5.7, it gives the truck a nice deep sound especially off the start and into a down shift. I haven't really noticed a huge power gain, but it does seem to be needing less fuel to keep a constant speed, and the throttle response seems better. You definitely feel a noticeable rumbling coming up through the floor of the truck which is pretty cool. I have had other more expensive systems on my other vehicles in the past and would have to say this is a really good deal for what your paying. The installation was pretty simple but it did require a bit of cutting to fit up, we have a metal chop saw which made it easy. I would also suggest a battery powered impact.

I have 2002 dodge 2500 turbo diesel sounds great like it should deep throatee sound took about 2 hours to install old out new in also getting 2 more miles per gallon always was a flow master guy but now MBRP will always be first on my trucks would of gave 10 stars if i could

This is a great kit. So easy to install it was done in about an hour which included removal of the old one...of course a sawzall did make short work of that! My only suggestion is mine was for a '97 Dodge which requires the extra hanger in back which they do say will need for Dodge Cummins '94-'97's. If it is needed, which it is, just add it to the price and include it in the kit. Other than that minor detail I love it!

Living in Colorado you want power in your auto, this does it. 4wheeling, trail, street you can tell the difference. The product installs with no problem what so ever,and the weight is less than half of the one I took off!!! This is a must have. Get the K&N filter also

It took about 2 1/2 hours to install system but thats nothing when you take excess weight off and help your diesel breathe the sound is great, also dropped EGT's some and turbo spool is quicker even picked up a couple MPG. The only real problem is you do have to cut one piece of pipe which is fine but a chop saw would be highly recommended.

sawzall to take old systum off ree instal new went easy sounds grate with cat holowed out litel deper sounn and she breathes a lot beter total time inkloding cleaning out cat 1.5 hrs probubly faster on a lift grate produkt

Replacement system that the CT salt wont rot too fast

Overall it sounds great! It has a good sound under load as well. However, I don't like how close it sits to the rear passenger shock (cooked the shock boot).
