Huge difference! There is a growl tone when you accelerate that the wife was worried about at first. But, judging by the opening of the stock intake hole vs the K&N intake filter, no wonder there is a big difference. Just be careful when installing the sensor in the new tube.

Installation was super easy. Now there is a sound like a growl when I accelerate. I notice a much better throttle response and power to pass on the highway has improved as well. Looks great in the engine bay. Well worth the $$$

Make sure to DISCONNECT that negative terminal on the battery. sounds sexy when the accelerator is pressed.

This product really wakes up the 2500HD. It improves throttle response dramatically.

Quickly noticed more pep in acceleration. Added performance axle back exhaust and retuned the ECM, and it make a huge difference in acceleration and my Jeep sounds great without being obnoxious. Plus, the cold air intake looks great when I lift the hood!

Installed this kit on my '12 F-150 4x4, 5.0. I have a performance exhaust and this really complements it. Quiet at idle or part throttle but sounds off when the loud pedal is mashed. Can see a slight fuel mileage increase but an already great motor has better breathing. K&N has a quality product, had an AEM on an '02 Expedition 5.4. That kit required some ingenuity but K&N's is a better fit. Have used their filters for years. Complements to K&N and 4Wheel Parts for a great product.

If you have internet access use the on-line installation video from K&N this makes install a breeze. I definetly see the difference in horsepower in my 2012 Ram Express. Great product!

Any intake upgrade is better then stock. Mid range has picked up noticeably. Haven't ran a full tank of gas thru yet. So far at half tank I'm at 200 miles. It was easier to put the heat shield in the car and look at the pictures (which are not clear at all) also I had 2 buddy's helpin me out so I know it wasent just me having troubles.all in all it took about an hour to install.

I Could tell the difference as soon as i turned the key. It gave the whole truck a little better sound and adds a little throttle response. I also looks nice, you cant do wrong with chrome. I would buy it again and recommend to a friend.

Installed on my 09 Jeep unlimited rubicon. Noticed increased horsepower and gas savings right away. Sounds great. Only con is there is no lid for the airbox.

What can I say. Easy to install, better high end power, its K&N. Installed in less than 30 minutes with basic hand tools, although you will need a drill and a drill bit to make a hole so that the intake will stay in place. Noticeable difference in the high end when you get on it. Performance intake that does what it's supposed to.

I'm giving this 4 stars just based on 2 things. The product is great and performs as expected from K&N. It was easy to install and drops right in. Unfortunately, my only complaint are two things: 1) I'd like to see the NPT fitting made from something other than plastic. The threads aren't as durable as I'd hope for and took an excessive amount of torque to install. 2) The hole for the mass airflow sensor was not cut to properly fit the sensor so it did not go in to my personal comfort so I added some sealant around the edge just to ensure it didn't vibrate loose. Other than that it seems to be made solid and everything else was easy to install. For $306 shipped to my home and installed myself, I hope to see some gains with performance and a little better fuel economy but time will tell.
