Reviews: Hi-Lift Jack Mounting Kits

The mount fits and works perfectly and is a great solution for someone that doesn't want to or can't mount the jack on the exterior of the Jeep. I will note, I'm not using a soft top, so I can't speak to previous reviews regarding that.

Good design and easy to install. A much better mount than canter-levelering the jack off my rear bumper.

Very straight forward product with multiple mounting locations. Great product as far as construction. Stout mounting piece, very sturdy. Almost all necessary hardware was included except washers. Overall very pleased with this product.

I recently got rear ended (I mounted the jack to my rear bumper using the 4xRAC mount) and the mount took the full blow. The actual metal bracket bent, but the jack is still secure. The hardware did not bend at all, definitely the best mounting brackets on the market.

Was easy to mount, jack is secure, its not a flashy gimmicky mount, it just simply works like it is supposed to. Well worth the price instead of spending time to make a custom mount.

I am very happy with this product, it is very sturdy and easy to install anywhere on my CJ-7. This is truly a universal Hi-Lift Jack mounting kit.

These work well to secure your high-lift jack and keep it from smashing you in the head. Not much else to say.

The jack mount works great. I drilled it right on to my rear bumper and i have had no problems. Just remember to get a lock for your jack once you get everything set up!

Installed on my 2008 Jeep jk and no complaints at all, easy to install it doesn’t come with a lock for the jack tho

Fit perfectly, nice and tight even if it’s not for Tacoma. Installed with 48” jack in bed of 2020 Tacoma even with the snug top and factory adjustable tie downs.

4x4 Wheel Parts installed my HL Jack by driver side and did a great job. They were very professional and completed in a timely manner. I am very happy and will definitely go back.

Installed in 1983 CJ-7. Worked perfectly, even with the hard top on.

I have used this mount to secure my jack to the headack rack on my flat bed ram.

Put this kit on my 14 JKU the fit on the mount its self was spot on, bolted right up. However, putting the jack on was a little bit trickier the holes in the jack body (Hi-Lift Cast/Steel) didn't quite line right up, they took a little coaxing. Retrieval of the jack off the hood can be a little unnerving if you are worried about the hood paint. The hood mount do keep the jack a lot cleaner and drier than my old bumper mount. I also love the look. My 4'11" wife, however, says it blocks her driving view. I will include this a pro since it means she wont drive my jeep anymore.

So far so good. I have only had it a week and took the dirt washboard road home. Held up great. Let you know if things go south...

Very quality billet aluminium product. Absolutely terrible installation instructions, because there is none! The only reference you have is the image on the package and here on the site which is the same as the Hi-Lift site. My hood will NOT allow me to mount the bracket the same way as shown. I know, because I did and my windshield washer nozzles sprayed directly into my 48" Hi-Lift. Started looking at competitors mounts and noticed that they were mounting it backwards. So I took it all off and reversed the mounts and low and behold I can wash my windshield again!

Hard to install if you crush riv nut with bolt not gun and if your whole isn’t perfect it won’t clamp down. Also, u have to take off jack every time u put soft top up or down...
