Easy to install and completely eliminated the hood flutter completely. I live in Kansas and with the wind the factory latches just was not holding. Once they are installed it looks like the hood lacthes will not be able to close, do not worry they will fit.

The Daystar hood latches stopped all movement on my hood. Going down the highway at 60 I thought my hood was going to fly up and smash my windshield. Now that I have the new Daystar latches, I can run 80 and the hood doesnt move an inch.

100% better. No hood jump in high winds and I can even pass semi trucks at 70 and hood does not move. 1 tip is to take your time and heat the latches slowly.

I was somewhat skeptical about this product and how much they would really cut down on the hood flutter. Turns out these were a quick and easy install, and I'm amazed at how well they work. Wish I had bought them sooner!

Smart investment. The factory rubber hold downs break after they've been in the sun for a couple years.

Daystar's Hood Wranglers were recommended by a friend, and he got it right! It was unnerving to see the hood stretch the OEM hood latches at freeway speeds. Daystar's product absolutely stopped any movement of the hood when driving. Installation was simple and straight forward. If you drive your jeep at freeway speeds, I strongly recommend this product.

Easy install. I did it without removing the stock hood latches. I was able to disassemble and reassemble while still on the Jeep. NO MORE HOOD LIFT/FLUTTER!

Product was Nice!!! Should be stock on all TJs and JKs. I would highly recommend, installation was a tad difficult but nothing two vice grips can't take care of. Much better than stock!!![@]

These Daystar HD Hood Latches are just that...Heavy Duty. At first I was a bit unsure that I'd be able to get the hood closed but no fear. I am glad to say that hood flutter on my JK is a thing of the past. Get these. I seriously doubt you will be sorry that you did. I plan to get them for my daughter's JK too.

These things work! Install was quick, they look stock. The hood does not float any more.

I removed my hood latch spring hoping to get rid of hood flutter. While it improved, it did not completely remove it. Adding the Hood Wranglers has dramatically improved my hood flutter. The latches are very durable. The only reason I said they were difficult to install was due to the lack of room to get to the nuts. Once the the hood latch system is removed, the latches are easy to install.

Challenge to remove old pins.
