It was not a problem to install the 1.5 inch coil spring spacer We Jacked up the vehicle Pull the tires Put it on rather large Jack stands Undid the shocks pulled the Springs. Installed installed the new spacers we put a small scissor Jack between the frame and the axle to help create more space and pop it in with it just a little bit of pressure on the crowbar It was quite easy the whole assembly took 1.5 hours or 2 people Piece of cake not even dangerous had a Spring compressor didn't even need it.
Installed on a 2004 Lexus GX470 front end and it has a nicer look and better ride, moved away from bump stop.
super easy install in my 1998 4runner. Put the bilstien 5100s in the front and needed to level out the back with these. Took me 40 min to put in.
Great product and comes with everything needed to include locktite.
This leveling system is just what I needed. Had 35s installed with it. Looks great and gives you a bit more clearance off roading
I love the pro comp nitro level kit. I was considering lifting my truck at least 6 inches but there was no need to have two lifted trucks at home so I decided to have my Tundra leveled instead. I feel no difference in the quality of the drive after the level kit, rims (18x9), and tires (295/70r18 Nitto M/T) were installed. I also haven't noticed a drop in MPG yet. Overall, I am very pleased customer with this product and installation 4 Wheel Parts in Thousand Oaks has done for me.
Got this for my 2014 F150 4x4. I was a little worried that the handling would be compromised but I noticed no difference. I don't haul or tow often so the rake of the nose isn't necessary for me. The 2" level still allows about an inch or two of play in the rear for when I do haul or tow. I like the polymer design of the spacers because they'll be less likely to squeak and are extremely light weight, not that weight is much of a factor for me. No headlight adjustment was necessary, either. I have the stock tires but a larger set can be put on the front now due to the extra clearance. Aesthetically, the truck looks better, which is a plus.
I just installed this spring leveling kit on my 95 4Runner. It is quite a bit more involved than the directions say, but it makes the truck look much better. Rent a high quality spring/strut compression tool kit at an auto parts store. Also, it is easier if you just remove the spare tire and shock absorbers entirely. A bottle jack placed between the axle and a solid spot under the back end will help drop the axle approximately 2 more inches giving you a better stab at the coil spring when reinstalling it. The first side took hours to do (two trips renting tools after using the wrong ones); the second side took about 30 minutes. I gained about 1 1/2 inches in the rear.
This lift was just what I needed. All I wanted was to be able to put another inch taller tire over the factory tire size. This gave me enough room where I don't need to worry about scrubbing. Install is a breeze. This was the first thing I put on my truck by myself (generally have help from my dad) and I had very little trouble. That being said I would recommend a second person because it would make certain parts a lot easier. It really made a difference even though it was only 1 inch. It's been the best $40 I've spent in a while.
Hated the stock raked look of the 4th gen 4runner. 1" spacer provided exactly 2" of active lift. Fit fine with the stock struts and X-reas shocks. Looks like it should have from the factory now. Only negative is you can't dial in enough caster to get back to factory specs once you lift without UCA's. Highly recommended and don't forget to adjust your headlights after install LOL
