This was easy for me to install. You'll need 2 HD jack stands for the frame, a floor jack, and basic tools. I installed these on my 1994 Ford Ranger STX 4X4. Before you start, make sure to soak the Coil spring retaining nut, sway bar end link, and lower shock bolt all in penetrant, about a day of being soaked will help you more than ever. The spring retaining nut on my truck was 1 1/8in socket (common size on most Rangers), you might want a 1 1/16 as well. You can use that with 2-3 med extensions going down into the coil-spring from the top to get at the nut. Use a breaker bar to crack it loose. A small wire brush works well to clean up the threads on the bolt. Luckily, my truck came with 2.5in coil spring retaining bolts, so I didn't need to use the stud extensions (if the bolt is shorter, the extensions will need to be used). After I installed them, my camber was basically 0*, almost perfect, made the ride height perfectly level, and I think it improved my steering. Once everything settled in after the firs couple drives however, I needed an alignment. Make sure everything is tightened to 85 Ft-lbs. best bet is to follow the Directions in the Box.

This product made lifting my 88 Ford easy. It's only 2 wheel drive but now I can put bigger tires on my truck and it look good.
it took about 30 minutes to install. leveled out my truck. improved the looks. just a few tools and your done. seems a little pricey as i installed aluminum ones in my 1 ton dodge and the cost for them was less. still its a great product.
Wanted the front lifted like the back. This product does the job. Awesome look
Over all i was please with this product. The price was reasonable, it was relatively easy to put in, and i really enjoyed the new ride height. It did how ever drastically alter the alignment which is kind of a project to have corrected being that on fords you have to put in offset upper ball joints. So you have to factor that into the price. But in the end still worth it.
