presoak your bolts a few days before you try and remove the old body mounts. Makes the job fast and easy.

Don't go higher than 1.25" or you will have drama with a body lift. This is just what you need to start raising your transfer case, instead of cheaping out on a lift and dropping it with spacers. Combine this with a good motor mount lift and skid, it's like having an even bigger lift for belly clearance.

You might need a grinder to cut some parts on some models.

They recommend what is best not necessarily what I want. They are professional and friendly. I wanted a 3 inch body lift but changed my mind when I was informed about the gap that is visible without very large tires. I wasn't planning on putting 35's or larger on my jeep. I went with the 1 inch lift and it looks great and is hardly noticeable.

No negatice remarks to be made of the Daystar 1 inch body lift.

This lift kit took less than 2 hours to install. One warning should be added to the instructions; when you lift the drivers side watch carefully for contact between the power steering reservoir and the windshield washer fluid container. The kit contains everything you need and the parts are well made.
