Reviews: CARR Hoop II Step

It looks sharp. It was easy to install. And the price was right.

I bought just a single hoop step to add on to the bottom of an existing side rail. My wife is tiny and I made my truck huge, so I gave her a 2nd step to get in! This step with its separate mounting bracket made that possible. Solid construction and nice ajustability.

Works great! Easier access to the truck for my wife and kids. Easy install, could use a little better instructions, better pictures, but there are a lot of videos online if you need help.

This is the second time I have purchased Carr Hoop Steps for an OBS Ford Pickup. I did so on my 1994 F-150 4x4 20+ years ago and did it again on a recent purchase of a 1996 F-250. Installation is very easy for a do it yourselfer. The polished aluminum finish look great and take up a very little room on the rockers.

These steps are well made, strong and work well. There are so many ways to mount them with the provided hardware. I was even able to to mount a step on my UTV.

This product was so easy to install four holes and four bolts.Truck had Nerf bars on it when I bought it and they stuck out to far and were not low enough for my wife and would get the back of her clothes dirty (oh yes and they rusted out).These step are about 2.5 inches lower,she can get in a whole lot easier and she feels more safer getting in and out of truck.Super easy install and the best money I ever spent.

Great product fit well and is exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price.
