Reviews: Body Armor 4x4 Front Bumpers

I have read some reviews that indicate needing to tap some of the holes for easier fitment. My experience with the install was that it wasnt necessary for my particular Jeep. I found that getting all the bolts started and tightening one on each side then alternating that way until they were all in worked perfectly. Also, the factory fog lights DO fit, and the necessary bolts and nuts were included with the hardware. Again, I cant speak to anyone else's experience or model Jeep, but perhaps they fixed the fitment issue for both things.

Comes with all instructions and easy enough to do with the help of someone else in a couple hours.

Very well built. Little cutting/fabricating to stock bumper cutter , not bad tho. Fairly easy to install. I did by myself, be easier with another hand and someone with some experience.

Bought during sale and pulled the trigger after eyeing it for months. Install is well instructed with exception to relocation of the cooler. They forgot to also mention the removal of the mount bolt that is anchoring the cooler tubes within the engine bay attached to the frame. Easy removal. Remove passenger firewall and viola. Bolt is easy to remove. Besides that... packed well with foam everywhere and wrapped and installed perfect! Love the low profile bumper as it doesn't hinder the fitment in my garage and yet it protects and has winch capability! Stop searching and reading reviews...buy it!!

Well built, good price and doesn’t add a lot of weight. My smittybulit 9.5k winch fits great. The optional light is great. Highly recommend.

The last guys review is comedy because this thing is a beast for the price. 3/16 steel, fit perfect and they provide trim to cover the cut lines. obviously if you using some cheap china light bars you'll probably have issues but my Rigid fits perfect.

Fair price for a very aggressive looking heavy duty bumper. Has an awesome powder coated finish and fits my ram perfectly

Great fitment. It’s a higher level DYI but doable. The hardest part is making the initial cut into a bumper that is lass than a week old, snicker, It bolts direct and secure. The light and winch have to be mounted prior to installation of the bumper. No room to get behind it to install afterwards. The bumper nor the bar interferes with the annoying TSS sensors on the 2020 Which is good for those who like that crap. I haven’t looked but hope there are end caps for the bumper had I want to add them later.

Install was fairly easy. I highly recommend having a second person to help line everything up. I installed mine by myself so it is possible but plan on about four hours. The fit is perfect and looks really good.

It fit my 2015 Silverado perfectly. The install time was closer to 4 hours but that included removing the old bumper. I’m 100% satisfied with this bumper.

I've had this for a few years now and have no complaints at all. The install was fairly straightforward, and I installed my winch at the same time. It has now been face-to-face with many trees, rocks and other obstacles and has seen many hours of hard wheeling, and is still in great shape. I was skeptical of the bolt-on 'hoop' and while I'm sure a welded unit would be tougher, I've had no problems with mine. The steering box skid plate is a nice touch and has probably saved my steering box a few times over. The only possible improvement I can think of would be a few 'drainage holes' as the top is flat and collects rainwater. The powder-coat finish is super tough and takes a beating. No regrets at all with this bumper - it has been great.

Looks great but I hadn’t thought about the fact that the weight of the bumper would lower the front of the vehicle, so my larger tires started rubbing.

The bumper matches the lines of a 3rd generation Tacoma well and provides winch capability. The guys at 4WP Plano provided a quality install in a timely fashion.
