Amazing compared to stock 2020 GMC 1500

I kept bottoming out on a bad railroad crossing in town with my 2020 GMC 1500 CrewCab. Heard so many good comments on the Bilstein, I decided to replace the front suspension with the B8 6112 kit and ditch the stock suspension after only 22,000 miles. What an improvement. I can barely feel the railroad crossing now.

Great choice

The build quality is amazing compared to stock. The ride quality is much better as well. Everything you need is there. Make sure to get a big enough spring compressor with big forks. I had a different pair that didn't work because they are mostly for small vehicles. This springs are a lot thicker

Product in-stock & price was competitive!

I ordered this online for in-store pickup. This process was convenient and when I got there, the guys at 4 Wheel Parts Las Vegas #45 were courteous and even wheeled out my shocks to my vehicle. Will shop here again!

2018 Silverado AWESOME SAUCE!!!!!!

2018 Chevy Silverado 6.2L w/ max tow package and about 18k miles. WOW! this was sooooooo needed. Also installed 5160's at the rear. Installed the 6112's on third clip up from the bottom (second highest level). Very mild level and only had to adjust headlights slightly down. Fairly easy install once you figure out how to wiggle out the shock and loosen the sway bar about half way (some videos will say you need to drop ball joints, but with a little careful prying and using a second jack to pop them back in it was pretty easy). Did the install by myself. The drivers side on the first night took me about 3 hours and then the next night the other side took about 1.5 hours once you have the tricks figured out. Don't forget to budget $60-$100 for an alignment after the install. If you don't feel comfortable using a spring compressor, take them to a shop to change out the top hats and make sure they install the top hat in exactly the same orientation or you won't be able to re-install them. Overall this is exactly how the truck should ride from the factory and it is a night and day difference. On the road the truck feels planted and doesn't "Bounce" off bumps anymore it glides now and soaks up the bumps and in corners the truck is so much more composed (the seat of the pants feeling is that I always would try to physically lean into the corners even though that makes zero sense, but now I don't feel that insane urge to lean into a corners anymore because the truck has very little body roll). Now for off road, so the scientific method I have for a comparision.....my keys!! I use to always have to grab my keys to keep them from jangling around even on the mildest of dirt driveways (even had to do it on speedbumps). Now it blew me away that I don't have to touch them now, they barely move now even on the rough stuff (ya I know very scientific). Offroad it doesn't feel like you are a bobble head on the dash anymore the suspension does what its supposed to do, which is soak up bumps. Have pulled a 3500lb cargo trailer about a 1000 miles with these installed now and it is an absolute pleasure to drive with a trailer and even better without. I didn't realize how bad the stock suspension was until I put these on. I see why these are hard to get in stock because this is what GM should have put on the truck to begin with. Its odd the ride is a tiny bit more firm but somehow soooooo much more smooth at the same time. Its not Bilstein's first rodeo they know what they are doing. If you are on the fence pull the trigger and buy them they are worth every penny especially on a Silverado/Sierra.

superior ride over oem

i have mine set to the 2.8 setting with zone upper control arm and the rear shocks are the bilstein 5160s. the ride is amazing! small bumps/potholes are barely noticeable, larger bumps/potholes are not as harsh/rough in the truck.

Awesome service and fast shipping.

Awesome parts came surprisingly fast. I was skeptical of the transaction it was so quick, and this is with parts that are on 4-8 week back orders on other websites.

2003 Toyota Sequoia

Replaced my stock struts in 2003 Toyota Sequoia and put it in the second ring for a 1in lift in the front. Now it looks level and rides much better than stock.

Bilstein 6112s

Fairly easy to install once the old shocks were removed. Make sure you have all of the necessary tools and a buddy or 2 to help you.

6112 goodness

Super controlled compression and rebound. My truck is on the heavy side of the application list so the height increases were minimal. 4WP got them quick and the staff in Riverside helped load up my order.

Bilstein 6112, a great improvement

Improved the ride of the truck. Suspension is much more responsive. Also leveled the truck out nicely on the highest setting.

Bilstein 6112 Tundra

2018 Tundra- Went from stock black shocks to these and the ride is significantly better- noticeably better than the 5100’s as well, worth the extra dollars over cheaper options

Great off road shock

These are great for off-road, I would not recommend for highway use only. Very stiff and great to beat up!
