Get the parts you want, cheaper, and sooner.

The 5160's are great shocks, shipped fast and free, got a coupon code online and even saved some money for other truck stuff.

Great Titan XD upgrade

I also reviewed the other side - note that there are different product numbers for the right and left rear shocks on the Titan XD. Works great, slightly stiffer than stock but better control. Tows better with these on.

Easy upgrade worth it for towing

Fit was perfect for my truck. Slightly stiffer than stock but better controlled especially when towing. I did upgrade to the billet clamps just for looks. My truck has a Rough Country 3" front, 1.5" rear block and the length worked out fine once the shock spacers were removed from that kit.

6112/5160 on 3rd gen Tacoma

My buddy has a 2017 Tacoma Trd pro and my My 2017 Trd sport long bed with a rear locker is better off road. 6112/5160 combo for a Tacoma is the best when it comes no maintenance shocks that perform better than the trd pro Fox shocks. Smart buy.... do your research

Worth the price.

Pairing these with B8 6112 on front make for excellent ride all around. Installed on 2001 4Runner with 3 1/2” lift net springs, plate bumper w/swing out tire carrier @ 108 lbs. Step up from Bilstein 5100’s.

Great shocks and looks awesome!!

Great shocks for the money! I combined with Coach builder shackles in the rear for almost 2” Lift. Also used Bilstein 6112 and shins for 3” lift in the front.

Ditch the Ranchos!

Far better then the stock z71 Rancho shocks. Instead of shuttering and skipping around when you hit a bump, these 5160s just absorb the impact and make you feel more connected to the road. They are still a stiff suspension so you won’t get that “Cadillac feel”, but I guarantee it is far better then the stock z71 Ranchos and these will last a long time while still maintaining towing capabilities. Also the additional articulation you get out of the 5160s due to the remote reservoir holding the piston instead of the main shock body is a dramatic difference off road.

Good

Good product, not quite as stiff as I had hoped. Tundra still seems to hit stops on big bumps.
