I installed these on my 1974 landcruiser fj40. I almost cant describe the improvement they made. The ride is night and day different for me. I could feel every bump on my old shocks....I mean really FEEL them....in a not good way. It makes driving my old toy fun again. Another perk was the speed the folks at 4wheel parts got back with me. Replaced old Bilstein shocks with new 5100 series on my 2002 7.3l Ford Excursion with four inch lift. What a difference! Much better ride on my bumpy country roads in the mountains. Highly recommend!

Replaced factory shocks on my '13 2500 Yukon XL with a set of 5100's. The ride is much more controlled, great on the highway, good pulling a trailer. Highly recommended. The team 4 Wheel Parts where very helpful!

Installed on my 2011 F250 diesel, I put 35" tires on the truck and the ride got pretty bad. I replaced the factory ranchos with the bilstien 5100 shocks and the difference is night and day. I didn't realize how bad the factory shocks were, the ride is even better then I expected! I live in Louisiana and the interstates are pretty bad. there were some places I could barely keep my truck in the lane it was bouncing around so much. After installing the bilstiens I hardly even notice the bumps. I was amazed at what a difference they made. I have 30,000 miles on the truck and would say the ride is just as good if not better then when I bought the truck! The only con I have is, to hold backup on the top of the front shocks you have to use a 6mm allen key so you have to use a combo wrench to tighten the top nut. They said to torque it to 34ft/lbs but theres no way to hold back up while you torque so i just had to hand tighten.

Looking to upgrade your vehicle to Bilstien standards then this is the package for you! A good addition to any ride! Even for a stock vehicle this is a major upgrade. Where these really shine over the normal autozone shock is in the nitty gritty. My T100 sucks up bumps like nothing with this purchase compared to a only smooth on-road ride.

Bought these for my 6"lifted 2005 2500HD Crewcab Duramax. I needed shocks that would hold up to heavy towing, (i max out my GVWR)I was debating between these or Fox. Very happy i went with the Bilsteins. Im not sure on the mileage but they have been on for 9 months and durability seems to be good.

These would be great, IF the right parts had been shipped correctly, and I didn't have to wait months to get the right front shocks. (Still waiting, btw) Other than that, 4 Wheel Parts is great to do business with.
