We bought these tires a month ago to replace factory tires and wow are they ever a whole lot better driving tire. the ride is soft and smooth and the noise is very minimal. We have had BF GOODRICH tires before and every time the BF GOODRICH tire out performs any other tire we have had on our vehicles. BF GOODRICH is now our favorite tire and the only tire we will consider for our future vehicles. This tire is a PERFECT replacement tire for a MAZDA CX-5. they look great and ride great
I bought these to replace our previous BF Goodrich Long Trails on our 2012 Highlander. These had over 60,000 miles on them and were excellent tires, so wanted to find something similar to replace them. The new Advantage tires were a good choice so far. Good rolling down the highway, and good traction in the snow.
I bought the Adv T/As to replace the original LRR tires on my Prius. Not only are these tires about half the price of aftermarket LRR tires, but they offer MUCH better grip, much less road noise, and much better ride... With no noticable change in full economy. Right, I have about 33k miles on this set and probably have about another 20 or 30k (mine only have a 50k warranty). I will definitely buy these again!!
If anyone owns a Ford Explorer with Hancook tires on it, go directly to a BFGoodrich retailer and have a set of these put on. My Hancook stunk, hydroplane city, snow travel like being on a sled. These tires rock, no change in MPG AT ALL!
Haven't had these tires more than a week. We had a blizzard yesterday. These tires are worth their weight in gold. A lot of people think that their cars are dangerous and not good on ice and snow. It isn't the car, it's the tires. Some people trade cars and think that is the answer to their problem. Not so. I replaced tires on a new car up here in North Dakota. Summer tires do not work well up here. In fact, one small fender bender can cost several times the cost of 4 new good tires. When you count higher insurance rates the cost is even higher. A smart driver will figure this out. This was the best combination tire I could find through exhaustive investigation. So far it is great.
These are great tires, they have great stopping traction push them on the back roads and they highly impressed me with their cornering grip they make lane changes effortlessly and comfortable wet weather grip I will admit was better then I expected and I actually waited for it to snow before to test them before I wrote this review and the wide gapped wavy tread gives it great grip In the snow as well. I will say the only thing I would change about them is make a little be accelerating grip in wet weather but other than that they’re amazing.
I now have 24,000 on these tires on my jeep grand cherokee, mostly highway but some easy off road. had worried about the noise factor on the highway but after a slight hum for the first 200 miles, it was as quiet as the factory tires it came with. great traction in snow, mud and rain. would be suitable for moderate off roading. great for any suv I think. very happy with these tires!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought 4 new BF tires for my Cobalt and my car handles very well on the road. Needed my new tires for up coming winter weather where I cross roads with flood water and mud and ice and much more. Thanks!
I've had the Adv TAs on an 06 charger rt for a few weeks and so far they are smooth, quiet, responsive, the aquaplaning resistance is insane, and they are impressive in the snow. I will be getting the higher performance g force comp 2 for my summer wheels.
I bought BFG Advantage T/A Sport L/T tires in September to replace the Long Trail T/A. These tires ride well with no problems during inclement weather.
Bought four BFG's 235/55 R17s for my old 2003, high mileage Crown Victoria Sport. Now it rides like a new car (with new ball joints). Love the ride, looks and at a reasonable price. I will stick with BFG tires.
Much quieter and smoother than the previous tires we had on our 2012 Honda Civic EX. Nice aggressive tread looks like it will handle the Wisconsin winter just fine.
I bought this a month ago and so happy that I did...
Very good tire , reliable, mud and snow capability deep tread
we bought these tires for a 2011 malibu. they ride smooth and quiet. living in west michigan on the lakeshore, we have some of the most drastic changes in weather. these tires have no problem keeping up. very satisfied customer!
Bought these tires a little over 3 years ago for a 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5i sedan for my daughter. I now am using the car, and when I got it from her, I new I was at about 50k miles on them, so i figured I'd probably need a new set. Just this past weekend, at a rotation, i was at 52k miles, and measured the depth. I was blown away that 3 of them were still 7/32, and 1 was about 6.5/32. At this rate, they might go 100k miles. I've noticed no lack of handling with them. If I ever need to replace them, I know what I'll be buying next time around.
On Mazda 3 2014 they perform excellent . Been using these tires since 2004 had on Hyundai Elantra 2003, back then they were the T/A touring pro series. Perfect for 4 cyl Cars, I have abused these tires in all conditions and have always been reliable. Probably not as great for vehicles bigger than a small sedan or hatchback.
I bought these tires and now have 4,000 miles on them. They ride nice, handle nice and have as good of mileage as the Michelin’s previous.
This review comes after approximately 10,000 miles over almost every terrain imaginable. The stock tires on my wife's 2014 Subaru Forester were worn out. As a Subaru owner, it's clearly my duty to take cars where they aren't supposed to be; finding a passenger car tire that can handle such abuse can be difficult When we purchased these tires, they were brand new to the market and there was very little testing dont on them so we kind of took a chance, expecially in the snow department. We jumped in on the tires in the Summer and immediately took them on a road trip to Telluride, Colorado. BFGoodrich makes a great tire and asphalt performance reviews are a dime a dozen so I'll sum up dry and wet traction as phenomenal. Once in Telluride, we turned off the pavement for an excursion of a steep single lane dirt road. I'll add that our Forester is lifted so we were able to push the limits even further. Back to the road, it was rocky, steep hairpin turns, had roots, and it had some mud on it. These tires hooked up like no other all season passenger car tire I've seen. Even after the creek crossing, tread blocks full of mud, the car went right around the hairpin turn, over the rocks, and accross the roots. It's almost like these tires were built for the dirt. I couldn't believe the traction we had in such conditions. Snow traction is a downfall to this tire. I don't find it to be that great under braking or turning. The tire is predictable though. You know exactly when it is going to break loose!
Old school BFG Radial TA faithful from the 80s and now have the new Advantage TA Sport tires on my import. Awesome tire, very responsive and and quiet, great look, great stance, LOVE THEM!!!
