I've had the 50 qt in my work truck since 2012. I've put this cooler through the ringer and haven't had any complaints. It holds ice, and works great as a step stool in a pinch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Tundra 50 for the soul purpose of keeping my water and electrolyte beverages colder for longer periods of times without having to keep icing them down. My Tundra sits between the 2 front seats of my E-350 van with the optional hose bib drain connector and attached hose running through a "P-trap" and then exiting the vehicle. I did this so the cooler will self drain itself and the trap prevents warm air from entering the cooler through the drain. On other brand coolers I was using 30 lbs of ice a day, and my Tundra uses 30 lbs every 3 to 4 days dependant on the ambient air temperatures. In a vehicle here in Eastern North Carolina, temperatures can exceed 122*F easily, I have yet before now used a cooler that keeps my hydration needs nice and cold with less maintenance involved (putting more ice in) . This cooler has become the official cooler for the company I work for, 4 other co-workers have bought Tundras and set theirs up in various ways to their liking, because of the performance it delivers. I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to everything the YETI company comes out with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased a new boat it fish in the Atlantic off the coast of central Florida. We spent a good portion of the day trolling in the hot Florida sun. In the 65 quart cooler we had 40lbs of ice and in the 50 quart we had 2 20lbs bags. The first fish went into the fish box on board with 1/2 bag of the 20 lb the second fish went in and we covered it with ice I the box. This fish another 1/2 bag. About an hour later we added another 20lbs. As it melted we tapped into the 65 qt tundra and removed the 40 lb bag on the mahi-mahi and We started to head in as it was about 95 deg out. Both coolers held the ice so well it appeared that we just bought them. The fish box on board not so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve got a Hopper 20 and Hopper 30 “soft coolers” and have never been disappointed with either one during my river and golf excursions. So I finally pulled the trigger and got the Yeti 50. And just like the Hoppers it’s better than advertised!! I’ll never go back to a $30.00 temporary cooler with cheap handles and cheap lids that just fail during regular use. Yeti has set the standard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought my husband the Tundra 50 for Father’s Day. Thought it would be perfect for our up coming cross country road trip. We have used it twice so far. Once for an outdoor concert and another just chilling at home. I just used ice from my freezer and it last forever! I know without a doubt it will hold up for our trip. Already thinking about purchasing a smaller one. Thanks Yeti!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a gift after we had bought one for ourselves about 2 years ago. This is one of the best coolers. I can take it anywhere and as a woman I can even lift it myself full. Perfect size for drinks and camp food. The ice lasts almost a full week with regular use.

I was constantly having to buy waters for me and my partner during the day because the other coolers I've had in the past have not been able to hold up to the day to day use. This one is holding up great, keeping my drinks cold, and it looks sharp too!

Not 3 days after receiving it our ice maker went out in the fridge... and I have been very impressed with how this puppy keeps store-bought ice frozen for days on end. Also a great way to kep cold beverages handy in the living room instead of having to go to the kitchen every time! Can't wait to use it on our family road trip this summer!

The rack inside is a great feature and this is by far a great investment for our adventures, now we can hit the road and not have to plan when we will need ice again.

I'm just dad because the 50 is being discontinued. But it's all good cause I got one and bought one of the last lid cushions for it! Get yours while you can!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Tundra 50! I run a boat excursion business and I’m often out in the boat sun up to sun down and into the night star gazing! I no longer have to keep adding ice to my cooler!! This cooler is also big enough to hold beverages to satisfy at least 8 people for a four hour trip. It is also sturdy enough to provide an extra seat. I was going to only give four stars because I thought it would be nice for it to have wheels, but then i don’t think it would sit flat for a seat. So, I leave it in my boat and bring the food, drinks and ice to it. Thank you for making such a wonderful product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tundra 50 kept ice the entire three day weekend and doubled as an extra seat around the campfire. Plenty of room for food for two over a couple days. Definitely recommend you buy this if you adventure outdoors!
