This product is made of great quality material. However, it would be even more useful if the lid for it came with a soft foam top for sitting, similar to other ice fishing buckets.

Bucket may seem expensive but it’s truly a million times the orange bucket we’ve settled for in the past.

Excellent tool with multiple uses. The lid is amazing as well. I just used it for brining our turkey for xmas

You could not ask for a tougher bucket. I have 3 now. One is dedicated to food preparation and the others for guns and ammo. The handle is super tough. Great grip. It’s large and doesn’t cause any pain the way some cheaper bucket handles can.

Bought this bucket as a caddy for all my tools. I’m an electrician and love the idea of a bucket with a caddy to fit most tools and stock you will need for the day. This bucket has been with me for 2 years and I love it. It never breaks you can throw tools drills and staples in it with no punctures or cracks. And on the weekends it turns into my stripping basket for fly fishing for striped bass. Love this bucket and a lot of people have seen the durability of this bucket on the job site and have purchased it for themselves and have been thrilled! Keep it up yeti!

This is the best bucket ever! It is sturdy, stackable & cool. I added the air tight lid as well. There are many purposes they can be used for, but my buckets are kept on the boat to carry buckets of crab that we catch fresh out of the Pacific Ocean.

So, like everything Yeti, it's a great product, pricey, but several steps above most all other items in their category. This is no exception. I bought it because I wanted something to brine my turkey in that would keep it cold, not leak and I could put in my fridge. This bucket was not cheap, I paid $40 for it and then another $30 for the lid. I do think having to spend additional money for a lid, especially $30, is a reach, the bucket for $40 should come with some kind of lid and if you want to upgrade, fine, spend the money. But, anyway, I bit the bullet and spent $70 for a bucket and lid. It did everything I needed it to do. I was able to brine a 22lb. bird in it, kept it cold, the lid has a small vent, so everything went as planned. I had to take a shelf out of the fridge because this bucket is taller than most but that is the reason I was interested in it because of the size of the bird I needed to brine. It is a quality bucket, as buckets go. I don't see myself using it for much actually, I bought it for this purpose and the reviews said it was food safe so it will be there the next time I need to brine something. I'm not a fisherman or hunter but I could see how this would be good for those kinds of activities. I do camp periodically so we will probably bring it along when we do that, I am sure we will find uses for it. I still rated it 5 stars regardless of how I felt about the price but if you are going to buy Yeti, you needn't complain about the cost, that just goes with it.

I kept my bucket hanging from the back of my tractor for tools, gear and such. It fell off and I backed over it hard. It survived, so I ended up mounting it permanently! Incredible piece of gear.
