Reviews: Warrior Skid Plates

This is the only replacement out there for a '90 YJ with a 20 gal tank. My old skid plate had rusted through (21 yrs old). I like it a lot but was frustrated when I had done all the work to pull the tank and old skid plate off and lifted this new one into place and the bolt holes don't line up on the front edge. I had to drill new holes into my frame crossmember to secure it. Not pleased with that but was 95% done when I discovered it so no turning back! It's on now and looks great

Great heavy duty replacement to the factory skid plate. However, one of the holes is off by a couple of inches and you will have to drill a new 3/8 hole in order to bolt up to the factory hardware. Be sure to do a test fit without the tank in order to mark the hole. Otherwise this is a great quality product for the price.
