Aligning lid was difficult with one person but once installed it becomes easier to remove and put back on with just one person. Love the security feature of it. FYI, to use along with a TopLift Pro you have to remove the lid to get the lift in far enough to remove the hardtop. It helps to have small hands to be able to insert the bolts to hold the front and side panels together.

Very good Product, easy to install(about 20 minutes for me) great result. In my case 2 plastic knob we’re missing and foam trim peel off on both side.

I installed hold downs on the top and back, and a thick rubber pad on the top. Then I glued a carpet to the back (facing the front of the Jeep) To further keep the inside of this enclosure cooler in the summer, and help prevent items sliding off the top. Has worked out very well. Nice addition to my JK!

I bought this a bit over two years ago and love it. With this product If I lock my jeep with the remote it creates a large secure trunk with my top off! You can not lift the lid with the tailgate shut. You can't unlock the tailgate without the remote or starting the jeep and use the electric locks. Even if I use the remote start it stays secure until I insert the key and turn it to enable the electric locks. It's fool proof. This thing is heavy duty. It would take a lot of prying banging and cursing to break into it. With the hard top on it creates a two tier storage space. I use the lid to tailgate. It makes a great table for serving food and you can just close the window to keep fly's away from the food. For work I use it as a plan table. Pair this with a tailgate mounted Suntop Tailmesa Tailgate Table which has two large fold out shelf's and you have ample surface area for tailgating or work.

This is a must item for any Wrangler owner! The install is a little challenge but worth it. I had to use a mallet to get it to fit. The top can be removed after install in less than 1 minute. The back panel can be removed in under 3 minutes (it is attached by wingnuts). I have read that the quality is that of factory and should have been included with all jeeps. Well lets face it Mopar parts suck, that is why we replace everything and their are sites like 4wd.com to help us replace the Mopar junk. This should be one of the first items you purchase. The initial install took about 20 minutes. It fits very tight but it loosens up over time. When installing be sure to not tighten up all the screws until all four sides have been installed. You can not see into the box and it is very secure. It will slow down the crook from any smash and grab. Yes a crow bar could get you in in about 3-5 minutes but most crime is committed quicker than that. My box did come scratched (who cares). Tuffy does not box this item properly for shipment. The cardboard box it came it was about 2 feet to wide and tall so all the parts shift around and scratch. My only regret is waiting 4 years to purchase. I have owned it now for 3 months and still consider it the PERFECT add. It adds good security and peace of mind.

Whether you like to run around town or out in the back trails, its great to have a secured area in your JK when the top is off. I don't need to move items to my front seat after shopping and then sit at a restaurant where I can watch my JK.

Great idea, but the product has a space all around, you can see inside.

I have to carry a lot of items in my vehicle for work. Weapons, Gear, etc. Security is a must. I needed something to secure these items. I looked at a lot of different products and decided on this one. The sales person was very helpful and when I ordered it, I received the item in only a few days. Very quick. I read some of the reviews how how long it would take to install this and I have to say it took me only about an hour to install this. Very easy. Looks a little confusing at first. Extra bolts and washers left over, thought I missed something. I didn't. It went in very easy. Stiff at first, but the directions state that. I have the hard top. I mounted the hardware over the flange in the rear. I am now going to get a soft top, knowing my gear is secure. Taking it apart to install the soft top should only take a little time. I am very impressed with this product. This is just what I needed. I can now take the doors off. Great product so far and have already recommended this to my friends who have jeeps. Thank you

I purchased this product before I even took delivery of my Jeep because secure storage is required for days when I have the top off. I ordered the product and it arrived within 3 days of ordering, kudos to 4WD.com! When I finally decided to install the part, I opened the box to find the hardware neatly packaged and fully present with no shipping damage incurred. The instructions do not make it clear, but in my opinion, this product is most functional when installed with the hard top OFF. It is possible to install the product with the hard top on, but when the hard top is on, you likely already have secure storage available. I removed the hard top and began the install. The instructions are fairly thorough, but only include cartoons, some actual photos of vehicles would be helpful. That being said, the instructions were reasonably easy to follow. I got the box installed within an hour or so, taking my time. I installed the hard top back onto the vehicle on top of the body flanges. The flanges do not cause a loss of seal, so I would recommend placing the security box flanges on the body then reinstalling the hard top, and use the OEM torx fasteners through the hard top and box flanges together. The main reason I did not give this product 5 stars is I see room for improvement. The lid opens, but requires a slide then lift action. It is difficult to slide it backwards initially, but I suspect this will get better over time. Additionally, it would be convenient to include a shock element so the lid could remain open on its own. Overall, I think this product or something similar is a must have for someone demanding secure storage when their Jeep interior is exposed.

This installed easy and covers the entire back end. I like how the top lifts up and lifts off easily (once unlocked). It is strong and secure.

This provides a large lockable space. Is pretty easy to install. Ships very well packaged so there is very little chance of shipping damage. I think it was made for too many varieties of Jeep however (YJ, TJ to 2002, TJ 2003-, LJ) so it didn't fit perfectly and I had to drill out some holes, chase some threads and leave a couple of bolts out altogether but it is still a good secure fit and I like it. (I have a 2002 TJ)

This comes in handy for me being a police officer because I often go to extra jobs after work and have to leave my gear secured in my vehicle.

This deck not only provides exceptional security, but allows for stacked storage as well.

I keep sporting equipment with me almost year-round, and this Deck Enclosure affords me some peace of mind that I won't have to continually replace expensive equipment or rush home before every practice & unload everything after every practice. There is a small gap on either side near the roll cage through which someone could insert their hand & remove small objects, but I keep a 12-gal plastic storage box w/ an attached lid for small objects which prevents removal. Like anything else, if a thief wanted to get into this storage area, he ultimately could, but this provides a major deterrent to anyone looking to relieve you of whatever possessions you need to leave in you Jeep.

I have a Tuffy under-seat security drawer and was happy with the quality, so I got this for my open-top Jeep to keep things from getting stolen and to attach my cooler and tools to the top. It works just like I've come to expect from Tuffy - top notch stuff that is built to do the job and last. Only wish is that the hardware was all black so it doesn't show up so much. Great product.
