Reviews: Trail Master LED Light Bars

This is a great product. The fit and finish is excellent. I was truly impressed by this light especially for the price. The beam while not the best on the market is very good. Also surprised it came with complete wiring harness and easy to follow instructions.

I mounted on the front of a golfcart I use for the farm and hunting. It lights up the world.

Havent installed itnyet but it seems to be well built.

SO GREAT I ordered another one today for my dually, put the first on my Jeep wrangler. So bright you can't tell your headlights are even on. Have pictures also.

I installed this light bar on a pontoon boat so I could do some night fishing. I was out on the lake while one of the nearby towns was celebrating the 4th of July with fireworks on the lake. I watched the fireworks and then headed off to go do a bit of night fishing to avoid the crowds at the docks. I was about two miles away from the dock when I made a turn and headed (trolling for fish) back towards the docks. About 15 minutes later the Sheriff came at me in their boat. They yelled over the bullhorn to turn off my lights. Apparently everyone at the dock was being blinded … FROM 2 MILES AWAY!!!!!! The portion of the lake I was on is over 800 feet deep. For anyone who hasn’t been on the water, water has a tendency to eat the light. I have never been so pleased with a purchase as I am with this light bar. For the price I say it can’t be beat!

I bought this light bar December 2017 and have had it for just about a year. It is super bright in comparison to an Amazon light bar that I had on a previous vehicle that I bought for $50. I'm amazed at how far the light goes and with it mounted above my windshield I like how wide the beam is side to side. Only thing I recommend is that you buy 4 more of the isolators (comes with 2) because when it's above the windshield it whistles (common problem with all bars). Using the isolators cut the noise and now it only whistles when I'm bucking a terrible head wind drivig on the freeway. I highly recommend this bar. Also I have never had any moisture inside the bar which is super common on Amazon specials led bars.

The previous reviewer complained about harmonics for his particular application on a jeep, but I have no such problem on my 15 jk rubicon. It depends on the mount, the other accessories and the angle on the mount. It is of no fault of the light itself. Expecting this light to work for every single application perfectly without any effort from you is not likely. Removing 2 stars for his inability to research such a common problem with jeep windshield mounted lights and implementing a solution is his inadequacy. This light works exceptionally well for the price, as does the 21" on my hood. It is of quality design and we'll worth the cost. I would recommend 100%

I usually purchase Rigid Industries for my LED lighting needs, exclusively, but I took a chance on this light bar. My decision to buy it was based mostly on the suggestion of my Rep at the S Loop Store in Houston. He said this was a solid light bar and would not disappoint me and it was significantly less in cost. It was also on special that day which made it less than regular price. I am very happy with my choice. It puts out a tremendous amount of light, a descent spectrum and distribution too. It fits great on the front of my ATV and no worries about it being stolen because it won't cost much to replace. Thanks Gage at the Houston S. Loop Store for the suggestion and great deal on this gem.

I can't believe the quality of this light. The quality of the switch, harness, light casing and light brightness is outstanding. The light pattern for the 21.5" bar is a little tight but does great nonetheless. I have been hearing good reviews from employees and noticed the Trail Master lights all over their rigs.

I received this for Christmas, first off the universal mounts are useless unless you're putting it on a hummer or flat top vehicle. The light is super bright and looks good on the vehicle. I used NFAB mounts for my F150 and I love it!

This light bar is a great value for the money. I was concerned about buying some of the cheaper light bars due to warranty and build quality concerns. I didn't expect rigid quality or light output, however considering the difference in price, I would happily buy this again. The light bar comes with all necessary hardware and wiring included. The only thing that might be missing is some lock washers to ensure it stays tight, however, thats pretty minor. the quality of the wiring harness is excellent, the packaging was also impressive. I'm very happy with my purchase and it supplements the factory lights on my truck very well. A note about the beam pattern, it is very focused. even though it's a combo beam the vast majority of the light is a spot pattern. I had been unable to find any reviews of the trail master light bars, so hopefully this helps give some of you the info you need. Bottom line this is a quality light bar with a company that will stand behind it at a portion of the price of some others. Will it compete with a Rigid light bar in output? No, but you also have only invested a small amount of money if it gets stolen. Worth every dollar spent.

The fit and finish is good on this bar, the harness is well made. However, they do not provide a mounting bracket for the switch to mount it inside the truck cab. So the switch just dangles where you put it.

Much better than just the headlights. Makes night rides in the desert a lot more fun.

The light bar looks and functions the same as the very expensive models from the other brands that cost "much" more. It seems heavy duty in construction and lights up the trail like daylight! The installation however requires a creative mind when mounting it to the upper windshiled of a Jeep JK. The brackets that the light comes with will not work for this application. You have to order another brand of windshield mount kit and expect to have to add a filler between each end of the brackets. The light is stated to be a 50" light bar, but when attempting to mount it to a typical windshield brow set of brackets, it comes up 1 1/2" short. I used black stainless bolts and two rubber washers to make a secure and realy nice mount. Love the wiring harness and switch, which was a snap to install. I intend to purchase more of this brand to complete my build of our 2016 JK....and expect to have to modify the other sizes of lights/included brakets offered when mounting them with a creative mind...the savings versus the performance warrants the extra work involved.
