Reviews: Super Swamper 29x8.50-15LT Tire, TSL Bias - SAM-25

These tires were for a Toyota Tacoma truck for farm use only-no blacktop. The tires work perfectly. They clean out well in mud, steer great and do not roll over when on a side incline. Tread is very deep and they really get a grip. Excellent tire.

It's a great tire, and performs as advertised. We put them on my Dad's truck so he could go through our fields without spinning.

UPS lost one of my tires in shipping. But 4Wheel Parts made it right and got another one shipped and headed my way.

I've never even been remotely close to getting stuck with these tires. Plus they were a great value!

First off, the specs are off. They state the specified wheel is a 15x6, but the tire is stamped 15x7. They're 28.5" diameter mounted and aired as shown in the specs, unmounted they're about 27.5. I thought there was no way they'd grow an inch, but they did. They're on a Jeep Cherokee XJ and it sounds like a monster truck rolling down the road. On the highway they're really loud, on long runs I want to wear earplugs...if it's too loud I'm too old and I'm coming up on 45. They work very well in mud, as to be expected, and do well in all other off road terrains too. I did some rock driving and they are unmarked, but I didn't really rock test them. They roll softer than my previous Cooper ATs absorbing lots of impact. Small stuff like road reflectors feel half as much as with the ATs. Other than the noise they have nice road manners, haven't tested wet traction tho. On the highway they seem to have a little more lateral give than radials, to be expected. In high winds at high speed they feel a little bit squirly.

I placed my order for a pair on June 14th. They were on back order. Even though they shipped together, only one arrived on August 17th, 64 days (nine weeks) later. The other one disappeared in transit. They were happy to replace it but it was on back order again because when they got it in stock, they only ordered two. The third shipment arrived September 2nd, a full 81 days after my order, or 11 and a half weeks. The product itself is great. They were made in 2021, no old stock. It says "made in USA" which is great but the rep said it took so long because they had to come from overseas. A great product but hard to get ahold of.
