Product is great the online customer service was terrible.

Fits perfectly and looks great. This bumper and carrier went on relatively easily with the help of a friend. Looking at the matching front bumper too.

When I originally purchased my jeep I wanted this bumper buy cash was spent on other upgrades. Finally got one and had 4WP in McAllen put it on. Love the feel and less stress on my tailgate. One area of improvement I would say is that Smitty needs to have a better ring for the swing gate safety pin. It easily stretched out and without it you can't release the safety lock.

4WP has always had the best customer service, prices and shipping! I bought this Smittybilt XRC Gen 1 Bumper/Tire Carrier three times over the past several years for my Jeep JK builds. It is one of the best made bumpers around. This past time, I had an issue with damaged/missing parts. 4WP shipped the missing/damaged parts out ASAP. They are a great company!

Very solid bumper and easy install. Instructions are a little old but pretty easy to figure out. The bumper is heavy so if you are looking for something lighter weight you may want to check out another one.

Excellent quality and workmanship doesn?t rattle and has a really nice wrap around look on my Jeep. Goes well with my Smittybuilt fenders!!

Looks great on my Wrangler! The installation instruments were not great. Too many pages with repeated steps and not clear as to which hardware to use when. If you can reason through the mess of paper, then you'll have no problem.

Great quality bumper, shipping was fast and install wasn’t that bad. Directions were a little rough around the edges tho.

Tire carrier spindle cover is not needed or easy to install. I left it off and it works fine without it.

This is a hard core solid bumper that looks and feels like you are bolting on military armor. High quality, good looks, and easy install. What more could you ask for?

This XRC rear bumper/carrier looks fantastic! It was a pretty simple install. As I've heard before, the hardest part is getting it lifted to the bolts. I actually used my high lift jack thru the trailer receiver and jacked it up to get the bolts started. Good solution, but be careful since it may squash your toes it if falls off the jack. Everything lined up perfectly and the instructions were decent (all contrary to what I've read on the internet).The only problem I had, was the hardware for the tire carrier pinch bolts was missing. The instructions said they were supposed to be already installed on the carrier. I put some bolts on I had laying around, but they bracket didn't clear the bolt heads. I then made a quick trip down to [...] and got some lower profile carriage type bolts (with a phillips on the head) and it works perfectly. Not a big deal at all. Note: The D-Rings did not come with the carrier. LOVE IT!

It recommends no bigger then a 40" tire but I have 42.5 boggers and it works fine.at first when I closed the tailgate it did not latch but once 2 of us picked that HEAVY tire up and installed it then the gate latched perfect.only problem I had was the bolt that holds the handle on fell out sometime while I was driving.

The bumper has been on my Jeep about 5 months so far and I'm pretty happy with it. It looks awesome and so far no rattles. When it shipped it was missing the bolts for the third brake light bracket and the lanyard they say comes with it. Sent Smittybilt an e-mail about it and got no response,kind of a bummer.Overall I really like it,now let's hope it holds up to time ,weather and abuse

I got this back in September and it’s been great. Install wasn’t bad. However, I took off a star for the fact there are very few installation videos online, the instructions are a little spotty and none of the pieces are labeled so you have to guess. But otherwise not terribly difficult.
