Easy to install. getting the old glove box out took more time than the new install.

Easy to install, very secure, great value

I've had this glovebox for a couple years now and I have loved it, except that when I am out in the sticks, it's pretty loud. It came with some foam sticker stuff to help insulate it to reduce noise, but it still rattles a bit. I used some spray foam and that helped for a while until it fell off. I've ended up taking an old rag and sticking part of it inside so when it's locked, part of the rag is hanging out and that is usually enough to fill the gap so it doesn't rattle much, if at all. Again, great product, just a little rattly every now and then.

Good product. Install instructions and photos are poor quality. Eventually got it in and seems to be a solid product.

I needed to replace the original glove box in my TJ. This looked like a good solution. Fit was excellent. I painted to match interior. Install was easy except provided bolts were too short. I recommend.

Box installs easily enough using existing OEM holes and screws. Additional holes are recommended for extra security. Screws and washers provided were useless so I used 4 self tapping screws in the locations recommended and it was a cinch. Foam tape provided was brittle and old so I uses a bit of home window foam tape just fine. Lastly, put some oil on the lock mechanism after installing. I came out the next morning and could not get the lock to open! A bit of 3 in 1 oil and it glides open now.

Quality product but the instructions and hardware were very vague.

My original plastic box was damaged when I bought the vehicle, this is a very nice replacement. Everything was included, even a lot of extra bolts and nuts. Replacement took about an hour, including removal of the stock plastic piece. Had to do some fidgeting to get it under the dash pad, though. Powder coat isn't the best, but it better than the damaged old box.

This was a great affordable alternative to another product from a very well known security products company. I went with this for my wife's jeep because, other than an add-a-trunk, this will be the only security product that get's put in my wife's TJ. If I were adding say a console (or any other products) from the "other well known security products company?" I would go with theirs, even at a higher price in order to have everything keyed alike. Great thing about this glove was I switched out the lock to a standard lock and key, so her TJ's glove box and my CJ's glove and tool box are all keyed the same. Very satisfied with this lockable glove. It will definitly keep creepers out.
