Used c-clamps to put them on, one for each peg. Much easier than a hammer or mallet. Turned out perfect!

Great fit and easy install. Be sure to install the metal inserts into the nerf bar first then tap step covers in with a rubber hammer. MS

Take the time to watch a quick video on installing (easy to find one online), and it is a fairly quick install. I would suggest leaving the pad in the sun an hour or so before you install, as it gives it just a touch more of flexibility.

it was difficult at first to look for these pads because my previous pads were all ripped apart. i ordered these pads by chance and it turned out to fit my running boards. i made sure i measured the length and width and counted the pins that goes in the board. i also found out while installing that you won't mess up the orientation of the pads (the label smitty bilt is readable, not upside down). it solved my problem. since they're local, the pads came to my door in two days.
