I installed it within one hour. It was very easy to install using the instructions. It fit around the DEF tank on my 2011 3500 Duramax. I had no problems with the washers included. It's very stable once installed. The instructions say not to use an impact wrench but I didn't have any problems using one. Very good steps for the money.

I think i was going to rip my steering wheel out eventually trying to get into my truck. I put a 6 inch lift on the truck and just hoping right in it was not an option. I needed those side steps to make it way easier for me and anyone who rides with me to get in to the truck. The price was perfect and it makes my truck look a little more Beefy, I dig it.

Great steps to add to my silverado crew cab. The black powdercoat compliments my white truck nicely. great purchase.

Very sturdy and accents my 2010 Silverado Crew Cab 4x4 nicely. Directions are a little vague, but it doesn't take rocket science to install these steps. I did need an impact wrench to loosen the bolts on my truck, but everything took about an hour to install nicely.

Very happy with the set of nerf bars,nice shiny black finish that matches my truck! which compliments it. Bought these around 3mo ago so far so good. Love the fact they come with a 5yr warranty,just in case the rubber steps start to peel. Very happy overall for the quality and PRICE!

Easy to install had SS set on last truck and went back with the same ones on this truck.

Got the step bars in fast. Picked them up from store. They came gloss black. All the parts was wrapped good. Took me 30 minutes to install on my 04 GMC crew cab.The instructions suck. But my 15 year old son could install them with no problems.I would buy again…

Installed on a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD CrewCab. Very lightweight. Good looking, I got the gloss black. The instructions are terrible. If you've ever installed bars or boards you should be fine. If you haven't, take some time and layout the parts so you can see where they all go, and I suggest finding a YouTube video or other source for instructions. I figured out my mistake after I installed the first two brackets, and then it was smooth sailing. These really are nice nerf bars.

For the cost you cant beat. Took about hour to install. It's looks good and making in and out of truck much easier.

Installation fairly easy but help from a friend would make it easier. Looks good. Had a couple of dings in driver side bar when it arrived but other than that, good condition. Received it promptly after ordering. Works great for what it was made to do.

How can it be easy to install but have poor instructions? Well, once you figure it out it's a breeze. The only real problem is that the fitment guide shows the same part number for the 1500 and 2500. While the cabs are more or less the same, and all bolt holes line up, the included bolts are too small (in diameter) for the 2500 series trucks. I'm assuming the narrow bolts are for a 1500 series truck. In the end, I just used the original bolts rather than using the kit bolts, but there's no mention of this in the instructions.

Installation was easy, althought the directions leave questions. Nice black powdercoat finish. Only complaint was that the supplied mounting bolts were too skinny to thread into the truck. I had to re-use the stock ones.

Brace bar is off-centered from frame but does stiffen up the whole bar. Washers behind plate need to be a little bigger but they do work. Nice finish.

These sidebars were very easy to install and look great on the truck. The cost is very reasonable for the quality of the merchandise. The simply look flows with the lines of the vehicle. Great product !
