I have it attached to my gear holder on my tailgate. It fits and works well in the location.

I use it in my Toyota rockcrawler. However, because of the size of the attachment straps, it will work better on the padded rollcage of a Jeep. Otherwise, it works great. The fire extinguisher stays inside the sleeve and it's easy to pull it out for use in an emergency.

at first i had it mounted to the rollbar above my head. i waited for it to slide down and never did, although my passengers hit their heads on it getting in and out. moved to the rear bar . works great.

It was very easy to attach this fire bottle holder to the rollbar in my Jeep. Bottle fits securly, hopefully I won't need to use it, but at least I have one securely in place just in case.

The only thing I didn't like about it.... Is when your off road it doesn't hold the fire extinguisher still.... moves all over the place... other than that IT looks good and does exactly what i want it to do just needed another strap to hold it still.

I wondered if it would stay put while driving on rough trails. It did. Works for me either with top on or off when attached to roll bar. I attached it horizontally, hanging from roll bar.

I like the fact that this holds my Halon extinguisher snuggly in place and that the velcro straps enable it to be quickly removed for use in my other truck.
