Just bought these today at 4WP after reading all of the reviews on here and I could not be happier. So very glad I installed them myself instead of paying someone to install them for me. All it took was a 17mm socket, socket wrench, and a little elbow grease. The holes lined up perfectly and were very easy to install on my own. Took me about 30 minutes to install both driver and passenger side guards. I highly recommend this product for both the look and the price.

Bought a set the other day, installed them by my self in about an hour and a half, and that's taking the factory rock guards off. One bolt almost did not line up, but with a little (big) hammer work, was fine. I thought they went on pretty easy. (i'm over 70yr) They look great, a couple of wratchets and that big hammer, is all you need.

This is my first Jeep,2011 Wrangler Sport 2dr. I am not a person who works on cars. I don't even change the oil myself. A 4 wheel off road business told me they would charge me $100 to install these steps. I almost went with them. I would have kicked myself for days if i had let them do the install. After looking at the rails, looking under my jeep, then watching several YouTube videos, i said to myself i could probably do this myself. Well i did !!! It took about a hour or so. I did not have to do anything extra like some of the other folks who commented did. They fit just right and all holes lined up. They look great and are very sturdy. Now my short wife can climb into the Jeep without complaining. Again i do not work on cars. I installed these rails by myself with the uses of a jack and a socket wrench. This was a great buy.

I ordered these steps mainly because I liked the styling and needed a step for the rear seat passengers to get into my 2dr JK. The SRC Side Armor has great styling which gets compliments all the time. They are made from heavy gauge steel which should provide great protection. Installation was a breeze. My 14 year old son installed these in about 20 minutes. It was literally remove 4 bolts put steps in place, put a little Loctite on the bolts and replace. Don't pay someone a ridiculous fee to install these, anyone with a standard set of sockets can put these on.

One side fit like a glove the other side needed a little work elongating the hole's no big deal

It took me about 20 minutes to swap these in. Everything lined up perfectly. Looks great.

I bought these after looking at a ton of these online. In my opinion, these are the best looking, strongest side rails I found at a great price. Not exactly ideal if your looking for a step bar but can be used as such. Only reason I say that is because these are only a few inches from the bottom of the door. The mounting brackets are probably the strongest design I've seen on these things and the installation was a breeze. These are sealed, no open holes. The yellow smittybuilt sticker comes seperate so you don't have to worry about scraping it off. Great deal! Highly recommended!

Easy install and sturdy as hell. Great product.

Great protection, bolts to frame not body...put them on by myself in 40 mins with a 5/8 inch socket wrench! Very pleased. Handles the weight and clears my 35" tires. Fit was perfect, no grinding etc.

Great side protectors along with being great side steps!

It doesn't get any easier than this! 45 min. and I was done! Fit and finish perfect!

My wife's jeep had a set when we bought it made me want a set for mine. They were very easy to install only took a few minutes and one tool.

Only thing that I would suggest is including a skirt for the bottom of the door frame to cover holes.

Installed without assistance but help would have been better. One pre-drilled hole needed a small amount of additional drilling to install. These rock guards add a lot of lateral side impact protection due to the three heavy gauge steel tubes. All welds were well done and solid. I installed factory mud flaps after installing these nerf bars and was pleased to discover no modifications were required to the front mud flaps as I had originally feared. If you're looking for light weight "eye candy" skip these but if you're looking for solid (and attractive) protection this is it.
