I ordered the replacement top online. The top arrived quickly, even having selected standard ground shipping. The top fits perfectly snug. You definitely need two people to make the install smooth. Plus, the recommendation to do the install in warmer weather (~70 degrees F) definitely helps. Overall, really nice product from Smittybilt and transaction with 4 Wheel Parts. This product is great! It is easy to install. This is my first jeep and my first soft top to replace and it took me about 1.5 hours! I’ve had it for about a month and it been great!

Perfect fit! Just let it sit out in the sun for a bit, to soften it up...it’ll make installation MUCH easier! A+

I bought the top to dress up a TJ that I purchased to sell at TwistFamilyMotors.com (photos available there under inventory tab). It lived up to the task. Installation did not go according to the directions. Even after warming the top and shop to 70 degrees, it was impossible to stretch it to attach the side tabs at the doors or even latch the front. The solution: undo the back corners, latch the top at the windshield, then do the doors, and finally, pulling on the back bow, slip the corners back into place. After it was done, the Jeep looked sharp!

Giving this 4 of 5 simply because I've only had it a few weeks and it's great so far; hopefully it's durable and I continue to be pleased. Quick and free shipping, no tax for me. The only difficult part of the installation was the door skins and I definitely needed an extra set of hands for the whole job, even after it laid in the sun for a few hours.

Just installed this new top on my 2002 Jeep Wrangler. Installation was easy and quick. I am a little worried on how the top is going to hold up since it cost less than $300 and most other brands are double price. Time will tell. Currently, it looks good and works fine.

The stitching was coming undone on my top, so I wanted a replacement. It installed very easily and looks very nice on my Jeep. HOWEVER, the fit isn't as tight as my original top so driving with the top up is extremely loud once speed starts. I've been tweeking what I could, but still loud. Overall, though, I'm glad I purchased this.

VERY happy with my purchase, but most of all with the customer service from 4WD! They were very helpful and addressed my needs immediately. SO HAPPY, wish I hadn't waited so long.

This top is what it is. A cheap replacement when you don't want to spend a lot. I'm happy with the purchase overall. The worst part was getting the skins on the window frame. Even after letting it sit in the sun it was hard to get on. I'd recomend this to someone on a budget. I'd have gotten a best top but I wasn't looking to spend a lot. If this one can last longer than the best top (5 years) I'll be surprised.

Top fit almost Perfectly & seems to be fairly well constructed & Had Good Instructions on Installing,It would hard to beat this top as far as Value for the Price.

The new Smittybilt soft top looks great. The instructions were easy to follow and it took less than an hour to take off the old soft top and install the replacement.

I have a 97 TJ. Top was in pretty bad shap. Didn't want to spend alot not knowing how much longer the jeep would last. For the price this is a very good product. Good fit and keeps me dry. Just one thing make sure you install back window and roll it up before putting top on jeep.

there was something weird about how the back window zipped onto the rest of the top. The zippers seemed to be upside down.

Saved big $$$ over Bestop. Great decision.
